They said you wouldn't be locked in. The people were nice enough at first, I trusted what they said, and I took the bait. First off, the contract is pretty much final as soon as the 3 day "test period" is up. You cannot cancel, you cannot get your money back, you cannot reconsider. Second, the system cost is an absolute rip-off. I opted for a basic system, no fancy cameras or doorbell or anything, just a panel and some sensors. The cost of all the devices came up to $5900. After it was installed, I looked up the model numbers of the devices online out of curiosity and found the same products or at least very similar down to the brand name and appearance on Amazon for a total of $800. Absolutely insane price hike for no good reason. I was also told that the devices would have lifetime warranty, this also turned out to be a lie or heavily skewed in that there is a service charge per visit to replace manufacturer faults for up to one or two years. After that, it's your problem. The only redeeming part of this whole experience is that the service cost is less than competitors at $10/month. Side Note: I've also asked for yard signs and a Pamphlet twice from ASG over the course of a month and I've still received nothing. Emailing gets you no response and calling is the only viable way to get a hold of someone who can potentially help you. Bad experience, I do not recommend. Save your money and look elsewhere, I would have still had $5k in my pocket had I looked around just a bit more. I am ashamed that I actually bought this nonsense.

Working with this company has been an all around terrible experience. The sales guy straight up lied to us, the company took over a month to send us money to buy us out of our old contract, they sent the wrong amount, we didn't get all the equipment we were promised, and they didn't take down our old equipment as promised. Getting a response from anyone takes days which isn't comforting for a security company. And no one seems to follow through with communication. Would not recommend and I wish we hadn't switched.
