Athletico Physical Therapy - Dallas Downtown

• Kaylyn

Kaylyn and all the other staff were amazing! I went from being skeptical these exercises would work to feeling better before I finished all of my scheduled sessions. The home exercises will keep you feeling better and rebuild your strength if you do them. I can't say enough good things about Kaylyn and the other staff here.

I presented with years in the making core atrophy. I was walking like an old man with my posture bent forward. I had not been to the gym or in a regular exercise program for many years. I had a left hip replaced in 2022, but was feeling sheer exhaustion after a couple of houses, when I walked my dog. Kaylyn Rock, PT, DPT, was the therapist assigned to me. She did an initial assessment and then developed a therapy program and scheduled visits for an entire month. The program consisted of stretching and strength building preceded by cardio warmup and home work out to maintain the progress at the studio. Kaylyn was warm, friendly, very professional, and knew her craft. I absolutely felt personal and sincere attention and encouragement was being given to me for the entire program. I made great progress over 14 visits and can walk my dog without getting tired. I recommend Athletico and Kaylyn Rock. They are convenient to downtown folks and parking is free.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with physical therapy at Athletico Dallas Downtown. The care is personalized, and my therapist is attentive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my progress. Their support and tailored treatment have made a meaningful difference in my recovery. I recommend Athletico Dallas Downtown. 10/7/2026, I graduated from physical therapy today. I hobbled in crutches months ago and today I can do everything that I could do before my injury. Kaylyn is my hero! She pushed me just enough but not too much during my sessions. I felt that she had my recovery front of mind for the whole time. This was a complete success. Thank you Athletico and especially Kaylyn.

Harrison and Vipan are THE best! Harrison as my primary PT has clearly, kindly, and expertly explained my therapy every step of the way, adjusting my exercises to ensure I regain strength, mobility, and function. Vipan, a student intern, has led 90% of my sessions with an earnest and obvious desire to learn all she can to take the best care of me and her future patients. She listens to my concerns, explains the details and purpose of my exercises, and kindly ensures I do them correctly and to the point of improvement, even when id quit. She revels in achieving success for her patients! UPDATE- In January 2026 I re-injured one of my rotator cuffs that I had previously had surgery on...DISASTER! At that point I was about nine months out from a DIY Alaskan float hunt for moose scheduled for September 2026. I knew surgery would make me physically incapable of the rigors required for that bucket-list hunt, but neither could I continue with the pain and lack of ability I was experiencing- I could barely put a shirt on. When my specialist recommended therapy as a possible alternative to surgery, I sprinted to the people and place I trust- Athletico in downtown Dallas. Kaylyn and the team helped me set goals and struggle through about a million different exercises. My progress was slow but steady as Kaylyn masked her ruthless commitment to my improvement with kindness, patience, and some laughter at my expense. Months passed. Now jump to my picture taken around September 12, 2026- that's me on my raft in southwestern Alaska, floating the final leg of my 40-mile, 15-day odyssey on the Stuyahok River with a metric ton of bull moose and camping gear, exhausted, dirty, successful, and with two working shoulders! This dream adventure I thought was impossible nine months ago became reality because of Kaylyn and Team Athletico Downtown Dallas! THANKS!

The PT staff are extremely supportive and tailors and adjusts physical therapy plans for rehabilitation to restore physical mobility and relieve pain from the problem bodily area.
