Broke down and the gentlemen at the shop helped me with absolute amazing grace and speed. They couldnt fix the issue but they diagnosed it and helped me out. Could not be more grateful.

Tried to call to get a quote for an auxiliary battery replacement. The employee that answered the phone was rude, sarcastic and of no help. I say I’m calling to see about getting my auxiliary battery replace, he replies “ha Uh yeah”. I’m like ok that was a little rude but I don’t say anything. I reply oh sorry when I was making an appointment I didn’t see the option for that. He replies “ for what a battery?” In a very condescending tone. Of course I told him he wasn’t getting my business and needed to learn how to communicate better. To change an auxiliary battery involves removing several important car parts, either way you go about it. It’s not a simple battery replacement. When I call a business with a question I expect a professional response, not a rude, condescending employee who obviously wasn’t trained properly. Do better.
Took my car in without an appointment due to a sudden vehicular emergency, a blown radiator; had me out the door end of next day. Brandon & Julian in particular were very courteous and helpful

Hey Everyone,
I don't often take the time to write reviews, but I simply had to for this exceptional business. I was traveling from Maryland to Arizona, with a stop in Austin to see my kids. Not far outside of Austin my truck developed heating issues. The truck is a 2008 Ram 1500 with a ton of miles (230,000+), and I thought it's time might have come to an end, which would have been a nightmare in the middle of a cross country move. However, Andy & the crew at Austin Automotive worked a miracle and got me back on the road. I am beyond grateful.
I have not come across such a genuinely honest, thorough (with extremely fair pricing) automotive staff in years.
If you live in Austin and need any automotive maintenance or repairs, you'll be doing yourself a huge favor by taking your vehicle to Austin Automotive Specialists.
