The hourly consulting rate of 300 is significantly above my expectations. While the introductory session was acceptable, I felt it was somewhat hurried, and I have decided to utilize TurboTax or an alternative platform for my business tax filings.
Hi Varun, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. To clarify for anyone reading, our introductory session is a free 30-minute consultation, and we describe it that way. Its purpose is for us to learn about your situation, answer quick yes or no questions, and see whether we're a good fit. It isn't meant to be a full tax review or strategy session. That deeper work is what our paid engagements cover. On pricing, industry surveys put tax advisory and consulting work at roughly $250–$500 per hour. Our $300 rate is near the lower end of that range and reflects one-on-one advice tailored to each client. We never discourage anyone from doing their own work or filing their own returns. We work with clients in whatever capacity they need. Some want us to handle everything, some want a quick review of a return they prepared themselves, and others just want an hour to talk through a specific decision. Whatever you choose, our door is always open.
