I was hesitant to move forward and purchase a new piano. But as money savers previously I realized I played less and received little enjoyment. For several months i reviewed options and for me it was down to a Kawai or Yamaha. I realize Steinways are the big name and for good reasons, but unaffordable for me. I had dealt with Jason before and he always had this wealth of information as a helpful way to make a decision, not pushy. I said I was seeing Kawai specials on new piano’s and want a 6-7’. My first choice was the GL50 and he said it’s good but look at the GX series. For what I could spend it was the GX5 or GX6. The difference in price was not terrible but the quality resembled much of the high end SK series. He explained the differences between the GX5 and GX6 and since I don’t plan on any other pianos I went with the GX6. He gave me a good trade price and a higher end bench and after I told him I am happy I went with the 7’ because the sound is better than any piano I have ever had. I like the Yamaha’s CX7 but like Canon vs Nikon where is went with Nikon once and disappointed I am always a Canon man. What I am say is Jason allowed me to decide on my own which one to choose with no pushing or high pressure or it’s more expensive. He was extremely helpful and stayed until past 9pm to finish paperwork all without me going to the store. His movers were so good and neat and I am happy with this piano Kawai sound for me is my sound. Thx Jason.

Joel was incredibly helpful in helping me purchase my first piano. He was very professional and informative in helping me choose the right piano for my needs. His extensive experience and candor made for a very smooth purchase. Jason was also great with helping me choose a piano based on my current experience level. He went above and beyond in delivering the piano to my home and setting it up for me. I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
Purchase a new GL-40 a few weeks ago from Jason. I absolutely love the piano. I went all over town looking, and the price, action, and sound of the Kawai were unmatched. I would have had to have spent multiples of the price to get something I liked better. He gave me a great price, had it delivered the next day, and has been great to work with. Thanks!
Absolutely exceptional service. Jason is the owner and he's an amazing guy, the service technicians there were extremely friendly and helpful. I got the play several pianos including finding two options that I will likely be returning for. I very much so recommend this place, and they offer a great wide selection of pianos for acceptable pricing, used and new. 10/10 will be returning
We recently bought a beautiful grand piano from AZ piano, the more I play on it, the more appreciation I have towards the owner and technicians of this store! Not only did the owner help us find what we were looking for, but also gave me great advice for my piano studio. I would recommend my students to go to AZ piano when they are ready to upgrade their pianos.
Gave us the best options and was very accommodating. Loved our experience with AZ pianos!!
We recently had the PianoDisc system on our piano upgraded to the Prodigy II, sold to us by Jason Sipe, the owner of AZ Piano, and installed by technician Richard Valencia. Richard's expertise, attention to detail and diligence to do a job right is par excellence, bar-none. Several issues on my piano needed repair during the installation, and Richard skillfully fixed each one in-process. It was a pleasure to watch him work. We were treated very fairly on price, and the sound of the new well-installed, well-calibrated PianoDisc system is noticeably more beautiful and natural now. The ability to lower the volume to background level means we will be enjoying real instrumental music much more often. I highly recommend working with Jason and Richard, based on this great experience!
I can’t say enough great things about Az Piano and especially Jason. He is hands down the most knowledgeable person I could ever imagine when it comes to pianos. The man eats, sleeps, and drinks piano! His depth of understanding is incredible — not just about how an instrument sounds and feels, but about the craftsmanship, history, mechanics, and all the logistics that go into selecting and moving the right piano. It had always been a dream to upgrade my music studio from my childhood upright Kawai to a baby grand, and Jason guided me through every step of the process. He suggested a used Yamaha G2 that had only one previous owner. From the moment I played it, I knew it was special. The tone is the most clear and sparkling sound I’ve heard in a long time — rich, balanced, and incredibly expressive. It has completely elevated my studio. What impressed me most was how thoughtful and thorough Jason was. His expertise in all the logistics — from evaluating the piano’s condition to coordinating delivery and setup with Juan Carlo — was exceptional. I felt confident and supported the entire time. Thank you, Jason, for your dedication and knowledge of this craft. If you need a piano, this is the person to go to!
This was an excellent experience from start to finish. We purchased a beautiful used upright piano that both looks and sounds like new—at roughly half the cost. Jason was professional, direct, and easy to work with throughout the process. The entire transaction was seamless, and the delivery was handled with exceptional care.
Jason helped us pick out the right piano to replace our older grand. We tried out most of the pianos in the store and found the right one. Great selection of new Kawaii pianos and a wide range of options for used grands. We felt he was honest and fair in pricing and would recommend AZ Pianos to others in the market for a new or used piano.
