She balanced surprising, unexpected texture, structure, color and beauty into an outstanding green space for us. She and her talented team were a joy to work with and her plant sourcing associate provided stunning, healthy specimens from Anna's specifications. Her communication throughout the job, which started ahead of schedule, was excellent. She arrived early each morning to place that day's plantings...Definitely caring and hands-on. Her management team also stopped by for unannounced landscape look-arounds. And the installers were very knowledgeable. BB Barnes' overall talent and passion for their work were evident throughout our entire project. I am most grateful to Anna Beard and her entire team for our gorgeous landscape which we will enjoy for years to come! Thanks Anna!!

A wonderful variety of plants and gifts. High quality, well cared for plants and knowledgeable folks like Paul who take the time to share knowledge about the plants and learn what you are looking for. I called wanting to send blooming bushes to a memorial service. Paul was so patient and I felt it became his mission to help me accomplish my desire to honor my dear friend who had passed. Paul found the perfect blooming bush and then reached out to his colleague Marleina to see if she could wrap the containers to make them look nice. Paul and Marleina took my desire and make it a reality. The children of my deceased friend will each have a beautiful blooming bush to honor their father because I was important to Paul and Marleina and to BB Barnes.They as a beautiful team got the bushes delivered in record time. I do not think there is any other establishment in the Asheville area who would take a customer's request so seriously and personally and go above and beyond to make it happen.

We were in search of ground cover; unfortunately it was late in the season and we may have to wait until Spring. However, the customer service was extraordinary!! Shout out to Dave, Parker and Rhonda for their kindness. We were shown great options by Dave, who was friendly, thorough and patient! Then we worked with Parker for done fall pots. He helped us select beautiful combinations of purple cabbage, kale and pansies, and we appreciated his terrific attitude. We had also purchased some ground cover and was hoping the buyer could specify order additional colors. Unfortunately the plants were not available; Rhonda graciously offered a full refund on the plants at the nursery we had paid for and put on hold. Rhonda was also a wonderful help to us. The knowledge, kindness and artistic skills of the people who work at BB Barnes combined with a huge selection make it a special place to shop!!

She made some great recommendations on tress that I could use to use in my space for privacy and noise reduction. Her knowledge of tree names, growth rate, growth width, etc. is impressive. Thomas Howell in scheduling contacted me promptly to set up my tree delivery and installation. Cooper and Eric, who delivered and installed my trees were friendly, engaging, professional and patient. They did not hesitate to share their opinion when asked. They are perfectionists and my space looks fantastic. B.B. Barns stands by their landscape warranty. One of three trees purchased in February, 2025 was not doing well. It was replaced, delivered and installed without issue which Dave in the nursery took care of. Excellent customer service in all departments and I highly recommend them.
