As of October 2026, current vendors were El Primo Taqueria, Filberto's Filipino cuisine, Korean Fried Chicken & Food, Niaz Persian, plus a bar and ice cream place. Seems like eateries don't last long here. We were unimpressed by the selection and prices. The taco place had tiny $5 tacos, the Mediterranean lamb pita was just okay (after a 15 minute wait). Wouldn't prioritize visiting here again.

There were 4 restaurants: Greek/Persian, Phillipino, Korean, and Mexican. We tried the latter two. The Korean stall had loco moco, which was ok. Their Korean fried chicken is what was really good! The Mexican stall's tacos are pretty good, but the tortillas were so thin and only single, so the tacos fell apart easily.
Please note: this is a group of fast food type restaurants. No actual view of the water, but you can take your food to eat on a bench near the water. We went thinking it was a 4.8 restaurant with water view. Just don't want you to be disappointed.
Banks Food Hall is in a great location right on the river, making it a cool spot to hang out and grab a casual bite. There's plenty of variety with the different vendors, so everyone can easily find something they want. That said, the food itself was just okay—decent enough, but nothing that really stood out. Angry Wings & Things and Jeremiah's Gelati were the flavors of the day and both hit hard! The chicken at Angry is crazy crunchy but the meat is so tender. Good enough to forego the sauce, but don't. Worth a visit for the setting and options, even if the food is fairly average.

Great place across from river park and Columbus State Univ. that wasn't overly busy on a July weekday. Good selection of food vendors. Outstanding Korean fried chicken, worth the 13 minute wait for a fresh fry drop. Clean restrooms and plenty of outside seating under a porch for canine companions.

I ate at Niaz Persian Kitchen. They are new and have a lot of promise if they lean into spices. Don’t be afraid to make the food as intended. What I had was bland and lacked flavor.
The fillipino food is great, but they need a hamburger jount.
