Bob was extremely informative on all of the information he gave us! we saw an immediate change with our dog who is extremely protective. Now he barely barks at the door when he sees we approve of the guest!

My German Shepherd mix, Cooper, is about 3 years old and had a lot of bad defensive habits. He would snap and lash out at people who got too close to me, especially if I wasn't looking in their direction. Sporting events were nerve racking because whenever we'd celebrate a big play he'd get scared and snap at my guests. These issues, plus smaller issues with jumping up on me too much, pushing past me to get to the door, and being very difficult to walk (pulling, going different directions), led me to seek professional help with dog training. I searched Google and immediately found the well-reviewed Bark Busters. I filled out a small inquiry form on the site and Bob got back to me the next day. We scheduled an appointment at my house and from that day on, my boy Cooper has been a completely different dog! Bob gave me all the advice and tips on how to effectively communicate with dogs, how to correctly react to their behavior, and how to easily prepare Cooper for his previously problematic situations. He showed us how to remove bad walking habits and now Cooper will run with me right at my heel. Is he still young and learning? Absolutely. Anything great will take time to achieve, but he gave me tools to get some immediate impact and had most of the issues resolved within 2-3 weeks. The best part is that it is not specific to just one dog, you can use these techniques with any dog and I've had success using them on some family dogs as well. I cannot recommend Bark Busters highly enough, they really did make life with my dog so much better!

I was super hesitant to contact Bark Busters since I’ve been through a dog training program prior that seemed to help a bit but my pit bull was still occasionally being aggressive. I was concerned that Bob would have the same tricks as the rest of the dog trainers out there, but boy was I wrong. Bark Busters and Bob in particular teach you behavioral tricks that can get your dog to stop unwanted behavior within seconds. I tried doing every google and tik tok trick in the book and nothing works even remotely close to how good the training works from Bark Busters. We have a 5 month blue heeler that has aggressively been resource guarding and space guarding. To the point that I was bitten more than once. I really thought this was going to end badly for our pup…..until we called Bob with Bark Busters. We are putting his methods to work and seeing very positive results in a short time. It’s not cheap but it is well worth it to teach our dog how to be a part of the family.
Bob is great! We started working with him when our furbaby was only about 2 months old. He had some great techniques for us on how to get her to listen to us which has worked like a charm. He came back recently at about 5-6 months old to work on leash training. After just one session, she did amazing! I took her for a walk later that night and she stayed right by my side. He will be coming back in a month to make sure everything is still going good. His saying is "if things aren't getting better the next day, call him" and he means it. I haven't had to reach out too many times since our girl is doing so good but whenever I have reached out, he always was there to answer and come out if needed. His training style isn't necessarily to train the dog but to train the owners. If you're looking for someone who is going to do all the work, then I would look elsewhere but training a pup starts with daily training from the owner and that is what he teaches you to do. I would recommend him to all my family and friends. The tips he teaches you is stuff that will last a lifetime. If you plan to get another dog, there would be no need to have him come back out because you'll already know what to do! 10/10!
