Fabian is one of the best contractors I’ve ever worked with. I wanted to redo my childhood bedroom (20+ years old) and reached out to multiple people and companies. Fabian answered immediately, gave me an on-the-spot quote, and offered the best price. His workmanship is outstanding - extremely neat, diligent, and hardworking. I originally hired him just for popcorn ceiling removal, but I was so impressed that I asked him to skim coat and paint the entire room as well. Highly recommend Fabian if you need a contractor specialist in South Florida. You will not be disappointed.

I really wanted to give a 5-star review because the work that did get completed deserved it, another section of work was left halfway and that’s where things went awry. The pictures display the work that did not get completed. The gray-ish green is where Fabian fixed the drywall in the garage behind the water heater. This is directly opposite the other picture, connecting to the wall behind the stove in our kitchen. Before his work, this was a hole that allowed you to see from the garage into the kitchen. Fabian was shown this section during the quoting process. This was a repair needed because of water damage in our home, among other repairs needed for the same. Fabian completed the other sections beautifully, but this section he started and then forgot. Once we brought the missed section to his attention, he said he would come that Saturday at 9 am. He never showed nor did he call. We followed up with him and were advised he had to fly out to Jamaica that day. Life happens, we understood, and decided to wait for him. He followed up before the end of his trip advising he would get to it upon his return. We took this as a good sign and kept waiting. He returned from Jamaica after about two weeks, we waited a week more and then had to follow up with him again. His response was, “I’ll do it when I get a chance.” Red flag #1. Another week went by and he came back saying we never showed him this section so there will be an additional charge. Red flag #2. If it had not been shown to him, the section of drywall behind the water heater should not exist. There should still be a hole from the garage side, the same size as the one in the kitchen, in the same spot. Although he was paid in full, we will no longer be waiting for him. I recommend caution for anyone else considering this business.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, even though it sounds like the situation with the unfinished drywall repair was frustrating. It’s great to hear Fabian did solid work in other areas, but we totally get how disappointing it must be when a section you expected completed was left hanging and communication didn't meet expectations. Your detailed feedback highlights some important points about follow-through and scheduling, and it’s something we will definitely use to improve. We appreciate your candidness and are sorry things ended the way it did.
