Best gym for an elite training experience!!
I joined this gym expecting a private, respectful, and professional environment. After reviewing my membership application, the owner, Loleta Riley, disclosed my age to other members of the gym. Following that disclosure, I experienced unwanted attention and felt that I was being scrutinized during my workouts. I also became concerned about the owner’s professionalism after a separate incident involving other members that she was actively training. The interaction involved those members attempting to correct my form on an exercise that I had just learned. I explained this context to her directly, yet she later discussed the situation on Instagram and characterized the incident as casual social interaction during a training session. She then asked her followers to “share their thoughts”. You can imagine the thoughts that they shared, based on the way the incident was presented. My concern is not about age itself. I am in excellent physical shape, and value staying active. My concern is that my personal information and private interactions were handled without the discretion and professionalism that I expected.
Loved it old school grit and grind just u and dem real steel weights
Excellent gym Old school Bodybuilding gym Family oriented
Loleta is a Top tier trainer. The environment overall is championship breed. Although I am simply training for lifestyle and not competition, I love going here. She is motivating and tough. We need both.
The 8am opening time Saturday and Sunday…… too late. Try 6am
BBL fitness is a one stop shop! The staff/team is wonderful. They are very professional and passionate about what they do and how they represent themselves. I love the moments I shared with them.
Love the motivation I get being in this gym. I have been working out here since April 3 times a week . Coach Loleta and Charlie are the best. I can’t wait to see how far I can go in my training with them.
Great old school "mom & pop" style gym for weight training. No need for all the complicated modern machinery you find in other neighborhood gyms -- all you need is at BBL. Good hours, light crowds, friendly staff, and plenty of traditional equipment. The only improvement I'd like to see is to re-label all the dumbbells and add a little more lighting above the racks (maybe then people will put away their weights in the right spot! Lol). In conclusion, don't get sucked into those gym franchise contracts that are difficult to get out of when you realize their gyms are too crowded and the machines are too complicated -- visit BBL and see what a real gym is supposed to be like.
