Words can’t express how grateful I am for Melanie and all of her help. After a rocky start to feeding my son due to a tongue and lip tie, she helped make my dream of breastfeeding him a reality. She helped not only me achieve that goal but helped my son in so many ways. He’s been a completely different baby ever since we started working with her and I’ll be forever grateful to Melanie for helping us get there. I truly cannot recommend Melanie enough. She saved my breastfeeding journey in more ways than I can put into words. My baby had a lip and tongue tie and struggled with latching, which made breastfeeding incredibly painful and left me feeling so discouraged. We ended up having a frenectomy done at Terrific Teeth to treat her ties, and I’m so thankful they partnered with Melanie to provide comprehensive care and support throughout the process. Melanie met me with so much compassion, patience, and encouragement. She taught me how to get a better latch, gave me so many helpful tools to make nursing easier and help me heal, and most importantly, gave me hope when I was in the trenches and needed it most. ♥️

Melanie was beyond helpful! Her communication was excellent, and she was so personable, caring, and invested in helping us have the best breastfeeding journey possible. She answered every question and had a solution for every challenge, covering everything from latching and breastfeeding to pumping and bottle feeding. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed, and she truly took the time to understand my needs and find what worked best for me and my baby.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Melanie! This is my first time breastfeeding, and being that this is my third and last baby, I really wanted to make the most of this experience. I can’t say enough good things about Melanie! My daughter and I got off to a very rough start with nursing… shallow latch, lots of clicking, fast flow, tongue tie issue.. Melanie worked with us every step of the way and if it wasn’t for her, I would have given up on nursing. I really enjoy the home visits. With taking care of a toddler as well, the home visits make it so much easier to get the care I need for my baby. Postpartum can also feel so isolating and overwhelming, and Melanie always comes with a smile on her face and just feels like a good, supportive friend. She’s so easy to talk to, professional, and on time. I’m so proud of the progress my daughter and I have made. Melanie saved my breastfeeding journey!

Melanie has been a lifesaver throughout my breastfeeding journey! Not only is she super knowledgeable & helpful, but she is also so kind, funny and easy to talk to! My baby was born at 5lb 4oz, so ensuring she was eating enough and gaining weight was a huge priority the first few weeks. The pressure and constant worry was very stressful, so two weeks after bringing our baby home I started working with Melanie. She helped teach me all things breast feeding & pumping and just after a month of working with her, my baby is almost 8lbs and I feel confident in my ability to feed her! Melanie has been a saving grace! She has been doing in-home lactation consulting with me once weekly. This is my first kid and she has helped me to navigate around any stress related to breastfeeding! Additionally, she helped me understand how to best use my pump and ensured that I had all of the proper sizing. She leads our sessions with in a very comforting and approachable manner. Navigating a new baby and breastfeeding as a first time mom is not easy & I needed help (especially after my baby was diagnosed with a lip & tongue tie). Melanie was my life saver.
