Benjamin Franklin Plumbing

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Benjamin Plumbing. I called to schedule a service, and the plumber never showed up. This is not the first time this has happened—it is now the second time I have been left waiting for a plumber who never arrived. What makes the situation even worse is the complete lack of communication. No one contacted me to let me know the plumber was not coming or to provide an update. Each time I called the company to find out what was going on, the representative I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. I understand that delays and scheduling issues can happen, but there needs to be basic communication and professionalism. Having a customer wait around for a service that never happens—twice—is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Benjamin Plumbing and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I called them out to come fix an issue I knew about past. When they arrived they were incredibly pleasant. He had to take the toilet off, remove some roots, and seal it back up. I had this job done 6 months prior. It cost me around $400. A week later the toilet started leaking from the seal. I had a plumber 6 months before tell me I had a cracked flange but wasn’t needed to fix at that time and this plumber also told me I had a cracked flange and it would be something to fix maybe 6 months from now. So the toilet starts leaking and I call them to come out and find out why. The next plumber says it’s a cracked flange and it will cost $600 to fix. So now I’m paying for them to show up remove the toilet (again) fix the issue that they caused and have to come out of pocket more when it probably would’ve been cheaper the first time around had they not done the job wrong. When asked to maybe lighten some of that cost as I just had them come out there. They said this was a different issue and the cost would’ve been the same. It’s unfortunate because as these companies get bigger the connection to having long term customers goes out the window as they are more in it for the money and less about relationship.

Called to have roots cleaned from toilet line. Man arrived on time and did a very thorough job snaking out the roots in the line. He mentioned the flange was cracked and he was told that the flange has been cracked for some time now, with no issues so we haven't replaced it yet. After he reinstalled the toilet and left we soon began to notice there was water leaking out from under the toilet. we called them to correct the issue and a new person came, also commenting on the cracked flange. When we told him it's been like that for many months without issue he insisted the crack was why there was water leaking. We said it didn't leak before his man came and perhaps reinstalled the toilet incorrectly or over-tightening the bolts causing further cracking to occur. Nevertheless, the flange had to be replaced at a VERY high cost of $600.

Brett was careful, communicative and conscientious. His goal was to please his customer. We had some hiccups with leveling the installation, however that was a flooring issue. He patiently attended to its solution. Ben Franklin Plumbing, in addition to my plumber, communicates with me regularly keeping me out of the dark at all times. I recommend them

Thanks Brett and Benjamin Franklin! Hot shower time!!

These guys are awesome! my first time using them and I went off reviews on Google and read the details of a drain cleaning and was like "that's what I need" My sink back up has been going on for over a year and my handyman has tried several times but the previous owners had some wanky pipe system that did not exactly match code. Diego was relentless. He spent 4 hours trying to clear this clog with every fiber of energy he had. I will definitely use this company and specifically Diego for any other plumbing needs I have.

Diego was a godsend. I have had an issue with my kitchen sink for almost a year now not draining. Nobody could dissect the problem. It was basically 20 years of buildup because the pipes were not put into code but he would not give up. He boiled pots of water running back and forth from his truck to my sink making sure that that clog was clear. I am 100% satisfied with this company service and even purchased their subscription. They're honest, they're on time. They're professional and they don't give up. They're a 10 out of 10 for me
