Nathan is thorough in his work and did not rush through the inspection. He spent time explaining the issues found and recommended a plan to tackle the repairs based on priority and what made sense. His report is detailed and provided a wealth of information. Highly recommend Nathan for a home inspection.
Nathan was absolutely fantastic in every aspect of the inspection!
Honestly I’m a little OCD and very nit picky about my belongings and the way Nathan inspected the house (as I was present and watching) and presented the final report was spot on!
Was very impressed with the format, over the top explanations, and how many photos were taken…couldn’t ask or hope for anything better!!
Thanks Nathan
We had an excellent experience with Big Country Home Inspections and Nathan, and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone buying a home. From start to finish, we felt like he genuinely took the inspection seriously and understood how important it was for us to know exactly what we were getting into.
One of the biggest things that stood out to us was how much time he spent at the property. He was at the house for around 6 hours, and that honestly gave us a lot of confidence in the inspection. It never felt like he was rushing through anything or just checking boxes to get finished. Knowing that he spent that much time carefully looking over the home made us feel like he was taking the time to inspect every single thing he reasonably could and really trying to catch anything that might be important for us to know.
We also really appreciated the communication after the inspection. Before he even finalized the report, Nathan called us to personally go over his findings. He walked us through what he had seen, explained the things that stood out to him, and helped us understand which items were more important versus things that were more routine maintenance. Being able to have that conversation before receiving the finished report was incredibly helpful because buying a home can already feel overwhelming, and a long inspection report can be a lot to take in all at once.
The final report itself was extremely thorough and detailed. It included plenty of photos, clear explanations, and recommendations, which made it much easier for us to understand the condition of the home and what we may need to address. We really appreciated that the report didn’t just list problems, but also gave context about why certain things mattered and when further evaluation or repair was recommended.
What gave us the most peace of mind was feeling like Nathan was truly looking out for us as buyers. We never felt like anything was being brushed off or minimized. He took his time, documented everything carefully, communicated with us directly, and gave us the information we needed to feel more confident moving forward with such a huge purchase.
Overall, we are extremely happy with our experience with Big Country Home Inspections. Nathan was professional, thorough, communicative, and clearly takes pride in doing a detailed job. If you are buying a home and want an inspector who will actually take the time to really look at the property and explain what he finds, we would highly recommend him. Absolutely a 5-star experience.
We are so pleased with Nathan's thorough inspection and expertise during the purchase of our new construction home. We especially appreciated his insights concerning the recommended repairs. We liked him so much we have arranged for a follow-up inspection of the repairs and our 11 month warranty inspection.
This is our 11 month follow up! Nathan came back for our warranty inspection just before our 1 year warranty portion of our new construction home is up. Two things: 1. Our home fared better than we expected, yeah. 2. There were several minor things which Nathan caught that we can have corrected before our warranty period is over.
The money that we spent for our initial inspection and our 11 month inspection has been very well spent - both for warranty coverage and for the peace of mind that we have for our new home.
Thank you Nathan.
Nate at Big Country Home Inspections did an outstanding job on our home inspection. He was thorough, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The report he provided was extremely detailed and easy to understand, which made a big difference for us.
On top of that, Nate is just a really nice guy — easy to talk to and genuinely helpful throughout the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends. If you’re looking for a solid home inspector, Nate is the one to call.
