We had to say goodbye to our beloved 15-year-old Labradoodle the day after Christmas, and it was a heartbreaking time for our family. A friend told us about this wonderful organization, and we were blessed with the opportunity to adopt a brother and sister. We renamed them Bear and Blakely, and they have brought so much joy, love, and warmth back into our home. A huge shout-out to Lori for transporting these sweet pups all the way from Alabama! We are so grateful! 🐾❤️

These dogs are well cared for and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I wanted to give a shout out to Austin, he offered good suggestions that worked out perfectly! Thank you Austin for paying attention!

While the grounds are nice, and the dogs have lovely yards to run around, the workers are far from good. Specifically the kennel staff. I have volunteered a few times, and the kennel staff are very snappy and moody with me. I asked to walk a dog that was smaller and gentler, since I'm not the strongest. The kennel staff gave me a very strong and hyper dog, who was HUGE! Small in their mind apparently is at least 50 pounds. I also noticed when one of the kennel staff got a dog out from the room, he dragged the dog by the collar, being very rough and aggressive with the dog. I also wanted to play with a few of the puppies, again, the kennel staff were very rough with. They just threw them in the pen, which was about a 2-3 foot drop since they just threw them over the gate. No wonder why most of the dogs there are absolutely terrified and don't want to go near any human. Also, the pricing is INSANE. ranging from 500-700 for a shelter dog!? The adoption process is also so long, no wonder why they still have so many dogs. I also assume they don't cut the dogs nails? some of the dogs that have been there for more than 6 months have some of the longest nails, which ive also been scratched by.

Very beautiful caring people and an awesome huge facility.

I found the most beautiful 7-month-old German Shepherd pup at Big Dog Rescue in Agoura Hills she is a wonderful loving creature, I think we appreciate each other.! Big Dog was fabulous with letting me Foster ,her first finding out if we were a fit... then moved on to adoption. There are so many unbelievably fabulous pets who need loving homes... arrange for a visit and find your Forever pet😀
