Ken was really great to work with. I had quite the portfolio I needed appraised for an estate, including single family homes, multi units, a 59 apartment building and more. He was able to handle it all, a one stop shop which is hard to fine and he had the knowledge, expertise and great attitude so a pleasure to work with. His rates are super competitive, I highly recommend Bixby Appraisal Group!
Ken did an appraisal on my commercial property in Panorama City. I was really impressed. He was thorough and went through everything carefully and really knew his stuff. What I appreciated most was his communication. He kept me in the loop the whole time, got back to me quickly, and made the whole process smooth. Definitely the kind of professional you want handling something this important. I'll be reaching out to Ken again for future appraisals without hesitation. Thanks Ken!
I'm glad we found Bixby Appraisal to do the appraisal report for my late mother's property. Ken is professional, knowledgeable and timely getting the appraisal report to us. He answered all my questions and concerns promptly. Thumbs up!
I've known Ken for over 10 years. He's one of the best appraisers in Southern California. I highly recommend him for any type of real estate appraisal that you need. Ken is one of the few appraisers that does both commercial and residential appraisals. In addition, Ken holds the MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute and the CCIM Designation.
Ken was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. My clients requested a valuation in a very specific, niche area of an upscale Santa Monica neighborhood, and Ken’s expertise in that local market was immediately apparent.

As a broker—and someone who formerly worked as an appraisal associate for a commercial firm—I can tell you from experience: not all MAI appraisers are equal. Ken’s attention to detail and professional insight truly set him apart. Whether you need assistance with commercial or residential properties, he is the professional you want in your corner. I will definitely be recommending him to my clients in the future!
I’ve worked with Ken on multiple properties, including ADUs, single-family homes, and condos, and they consistently deliver accurate, well-supported valuations. Turnaround times are reliable, communication is clear, and they have a strong understanding of the nuances in ADU appraisals. Highly recommend Bixby Appraisal Group for anyone needing a knowledgeable and dependable appraiser.
