Great experience with Omar and team. Professional communications throughout the entire process, high-quality work, timely and reasonable pricing. I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience with this team deserves it. If you are in the market for flooring work, you should definitely consider them.

Nathen, thank you for the kind words and the 5-star review! This repair took a little extra detective work since we didn’t have much information on the original flooring, but we were happy to do the legwork, track down the right material, and get the repair taken care of properly for you.
It was a pleasure meeting you and helping get the home ready for its next chapter. We truly appreciate you trusting Black Sheep Flooring to step in and get it done.
Safe travels to you and your family on your next chapter, Nathen! Wishing you all the best! 🙏
Jesus and his team were incredible to work with. They listened to our suggestions and concerns, and proposed valuable feedback, ensuring everyone was in the loop. They were timely with work completion and the quality was outstanding at a fair price. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely use again if a need arises.

We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to work on your home. It means a lot that you noticed the little things, especially the communication throughout the project. Thanks again—we’d be happy to help anytime.
From the moment Omar brought a variety of LVP floor samples for me to view, to the day the last trim was applied, Black Sheep Flooring was an absolute joy to work with at my home. Omar was so communicative, and kept me abreast of the status of the materials being delivered, and the timeline in which everything would be completed. All of the guys that worked with him were efficient and professional. They cleaned up at the end of each day, and arrived as expected throughout the week. They felt like part of the family! I loved seeing the progress and my home transform each day. My space feels brand new, fresh, and modern! If you are in need of new flooring, I wholeheartedly recommend Black Sheep Flooring. You will be impressed!

Calya, it was an absolute pleasure working with you from the first day we brought out flooring samples to the final piece of trim. I’m really glad the communication stood out to you because I always try to keep my customers informed every step of the way so there are never any surprises. My crew will appreciate your kind words as well—they work hard every day, take pride in what they do, and always make it a point to respect our customers’ homes by showing up when we say we will and cleaning up before we leave. Hearing that we felt like part of the family is probably the biggest compliment we could receive. Watching your home transform each day was just as rewarding for us, and seeing how much you love the finished result makes all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you for trusting Black Sheep Flooring with your home, for welcoming us into it, and for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate you and hope you enjoy your beautiful new floors for many years to come.

Thank you, James! We appreciate the opportunity to help with the flooring repair. The scope of work involved removing the damaged luxury vinyl plank flooring in the dining room after the rolling dining chairs caused damage to the locking system. Once we removed the affected area, we discovered additional damage to other planks nearby, but we were able to take care of everything while onsite and get the floor repaired properly. Glad we could get everything handled for you, and thank you again for the recommendation and support of Black Sheep Flooring!
Within the first few minutes of Omar stepping into my house, he was able to show me the low and uneven areas of the flooring and thoroughly explained the repair process. My partner and I had initially choose an LVP flooring, but Omar was quick to explain why that was not the best option for our house. He recommended laminate and without that recommendation we would’ve bought the wrong type flooring for our house!
The estimate was a fair and reasonable price.
Omar was patient with my timeline as I had a few other home projects that needed to be completed first. During this time he stayed in contact, providing recommendations and answering any questions I had along the way.
When it came time to start this project, Omar talked my partner and I through the demolition and install process again. I never felt out of the loop or that my questions were not fully answered.
They placed tarps across the house to keep the area as clean as possible.
Omar and the Tonys kept the job site clean. They collected the debris in trash bags; swept and vacuumed at the end of each work day.
The demolition process was more difficult than expected. Omar was transparent about any unexpected findings. Our house sits on slab and it was discovered that the uneven areas were much larger than anticipated. Black Sheep Flooring sanded, leveled, and evened out the slab.
We love our new floors! Our house finally feels like a home. I will only use and recommend Black Sheep Flooring.

Olivia thank you both you so much for the thoughtful review. It means a lot to us, especially when it reflects the full experience.
Our goal is always to help homeowners feel informed and confident, even if that means recommending a different long-term solution. We’d rather help you make the right choice than the easy one.
This project had some unexpected challenges, so we truly appreciate your trust and patience. With slab homes, surprises can happen once demolition begins, but we always aim to be transparent and communicative.
Thank you as well for recognizing Tony and the crew—we take pride in keeping a clean, respectful job site.
Hearing that your house finally feels like home is exactly why we do what we do.
Thank you again for trusting Black Sheep Flooring and for the recommendation.🐑— Omar | Black Sheep Flooring
Black Sheep flooring are not just regular installers, they are Carpenters!
An installer comes in, uses the air gun and installs the floor and goes. An installer looks at the floor and goes "oh its not flat yeah let me install wall to wall carpet" because they don't want to try to flatten it or tries to sell you on Vinyl as if you were trying to flip the house and wanted the cheapest and worst material you could get your hands on.
A carpenter can look at the floor, know EXACTLY how to make it as flat as possible to ensure that the hardwood will be installed to outlive you. The first time I called them I knew they were the right guys for the job, Omar knows more about floors, subfloors, and installation than anyone else in the state.
The quality of their work is beyond top notch, it is one thing to come in with a normal level to make sure its flat, its another to come in with a room length metal beam to make sure its as FLAT as possible, there is installing to manufacturers standard, there is installing it above and beyond, then there is Black Sheep's quality of work. I have never had a hardwood floor that has felt more solid, has 0 squeaks, and looks as good as this.
Their speed is amazing they were able to get my 1913s home's floor as flat as possible, and the floor installed in 2 weeks, in 2 weeks i went from an uneven and lumpy mess to the flattest floor in the city! They spent days building up the floor adding to it, then sanding it down and feathering it out to the point it was perfect. After that they installed some beautiful 3/4 of an inch hardwood flooring that really made the house complete.
Now that you made it to the bottom of my review, you are probably asking "well hows the price" the price is solid, for the work I needed done, and the amount of flattening I needed, the price is as solid as the floor they installed. Their price is exactly what you should expect to pay for the work and if Omar comes in and says he wants to get the floor flat DO IT you will NOT regret it. Remember its your house, its your floor, it will get the most use out of everything you own, you will walk on it, lay on it, exist on it for generations, spend the money to get the good stuff and get it installed right! if you are putting in the money to buy REAL hardwood spend the money to get the best of the best to install it so you NEVER have to worry about it again for the rest of your life.
After this, Black Sheep is the only company I will hire for all my flooring needs. They earned my business and they will be the ONLY people I recommend when someone wants a floor installed. If installers have told you that they can't install REAL hardwood and try to sell you on Vinyl or carpet saying it is all you can install, Call Black Sheep they have the skills and know how to install the best floor you will ever walk on! They Earned their 100% 5 star rating here on google and live up to that 5 star rating!

Rhett, thank you for the incredibly thoughtful review and for noticing the extra care we put into subfloor prep and getting things truly flat before installing your 3/4" hardwood. Hearing that the floors feel solid, have zero squeaks, and transformed your 1913 home in just a couple weeks means a lot to us. We really appreciate your trust and recommendation.
