My wife and I love Boston Body Pilates in the North End/Waterfront. My wife had been going to pilates for many years and had been going to this studio for a while. Every time I complained about how much my back hurt she would remind me that it might be good for me to join her at pilates. Out of pure stubbornness I declined over and over again. I was worried the sessions were intimidating as I didn't know the equipment or the lingo and I hadn't done any real exercise for years; and it looked like everyone else just flowed right through everything effortlessly. I finally decided to give it a try. It turned out I had nothing to fear. Now we go every week. We've done private sessions and classes. The instructors are very helpful and patient, providing introductory instruction where necessary and individualized feedback as we got better at the exercises. Through their instruction, I've gone from not being able to do a move at all to being able to do advanced versions of the same move. And my back pain is completely gone. I feel stronger. And I feel like I've learned how to relax my body as well. Kind of crazy to think I was avoiding this for so long. Anyway, the place is great. The people are great. Highly recommended.

I can’t say enough good things about this studio and its classes, but my experience here has been made truly exceptional by Liv, the owner. I’ve spent the summer doing private Pilates training with her, and she has been extraordinarily thoughtful, attentive, and encouraging every step of the way. Liv embodies grace, kindness, and charisma—qualities we all aspire to—and seamlessly weaves them into being a master teacher, mentor, and guide. She brings so much authenticity and humanity to her sessions, and I am deeply grateful for everything she has taught me this summer. Though I’m moving, I’m so thankful for our time together and hope we can continue training virtually!
Love this studio!! Staff is very welcoming, friendly, and lead amazing classes! All their events are so much fun and a great workout!
Enjoyed a class while on a trip to Boston. Liv is lovely and the experience was great.
First time attending, I was a little nervous to be honest. But I had a great experience. Liv was very welcoming , Friendly and professional. The studio was very clean and the Reformers all looked new. I had a great total body workout for my first experience showed how weak I was in a lot of areas that I need to work on. I will definitely be scheduling more classes at Boston body

This is my go-to Pilates studio in Boston. More men need to work out with the reformer for an intense full-body workout that helps enhance core strength, mobility, balance, strength and muscle toning. This is the perfect compliment to other high-intensity training or sports like tennis, etc. It is not easy though, you will get an excellent workout guaranteed! Liv, Penny and the entire team are all amazing and there's great vibes in the studio, everyone is supportive, kind and experts in their craft. I am a big fan!
I've been consistently impressed by the caliber of instruction at this studio. Classes are well-paced and appropriately challenging and the overall atmosphere is professional without feeling impersonal. The owner is phenomenal.
