Boulder Landscape and Design

After 30 years, our backyard had become an overgrown, unpleasant mess of junipers and weeds. Somehow, Samantha came in and was able to envision something better beneath all of that. She gave us the pergola and hot tub that we knew we wanted, a vegetable garden that we weren't sure we wanted (turns out we did!), and beautiful new trees and plants. The whole crew at BLD was prompt, courteous, and hardworking. Last year I only went out in the backyard when I had to; this summer I was out there enjoying it every day. The hummingbirds have been loving it too. Thank you!

Samantha Spencer, our landscape designer listened to our landscape dreams and made them come true. We could not be happier with the very professional results.

BLD came out to my home to discuss my backyard project (pergola, fire pit, sitting wall, retaining wall, artificial grass…..the whole nine yards). I was told it would take a week to a week and a half to get my quote. Here we are a month later and I still have not received anything. Thanks for wasting my time!

Cody and his team were a pleasure to work with. He patiently worked with me to create a landscape design and pick out materials, and he checked in regularly to make sure we were on track. I felt comfortable sharing as many questions and concerns as I had. The installation itself only took 2 days. I highly recommend Boulder Landscape and Design. It's such a delight when you find a service provider who is not only good at what they do but are also pleasant, caring people.

We are so happy that we chose Boulder Landscape and Design to transform our backyard! What we did not know is that they would also be changing our way of life! We had a backyard that had drifted into neglect, so we decided we needed help on this one and did not want to DIY it again. BLD answered our call and came to our rescue. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly, professional, and always avaliable to handle any questions we had along the way. Our project was slightly over 4 weeks long and during that time, BLD became more like family. The crew was amazing to watch! They work very hard, very smart and are very skilled. They are knowledgeable about the materials and have a lot of experience. Truly nice guys! My neighbors across the street brought them donuts one morning as a thank-you. They said they were the nicest and most professional crew they have ever seen in our neighborhood in the 20 years they have been here. That crew kicks butt! BLD is a wonderful, family-owned business of professionals that take pride in making your vision come to life! I never want to leave my backyard again and have basically been sleeping out there since BLD came in and blew our minds! I highly recommend them!

We used Boulder Landscape and Design for our front and back yards and very happy we did. Working with our designer Sarah was very easy, and her designs were beautiful and spot on. She offered alternatives when needed and had everything planned out. The BLD work crews led by Chuy were also fantastic, they took the time do things right the first time. From rocks, plants, irrigation, lighting, sod, yard art and a water feature they did it all and with style. You get what you pay for, and BLD delivered a quality front and back yard that has lower maintenance and looks awesome. We would not hesitate to call them or work with Sarah again.

I give my highest recommendation to BLD. They gave us a design for new stone edging, trees, and plants. The entire process was straightforward. Jonny did the design, was very responsive and showed up several times during the installation. We love how it turned out. We appreciate the one year guarantee with the uncertain water situation this summer. Chuy and Junior were extremely capable on the installation side. We also appreciated a visit from Ryan, one of the owners, during the early part of the process. They probably will not be your low bid, but the quality of the work is high. They also finished the job sooner than the schedule we had agreed to. An overall excellent experience.

We want to say a BIG thank you to Cody and the guys who helped with our backyard. Really happy with the finished look and definitely recommend them for your next landscaping project. They even came back and removed a tree that split during the snowstorm in early May. Thank you again!!

An especially big thanks to Boulder Landscape and Designs, for salting and shoveling our stairs and parking lot in this freezing, howling wind! 🙏🏽
