My pup is my world, and one of my biggest worries when we moved was finding our a new dogsitter. Luckily, we found Betsy and Amelia. Our dog ADORES them, and routinely goes to their home for doggy daycare and stays with them when we travel. He's always showered with love and attention there (they even got him a Christmas present when they were watching him over the holidays!), all the dogs at daycare are awesome, and we get great updates, videos, and pictures throughout daycare or when he stays with them. I can't recommend them enough, best dog sitters we've ever had!

I've been using Bowser's Best Buddy for nearly a year - and they are great! My dog LOVES LOVES LOVES going to her once-a-week day-of-play and I feel very secure knowing she is in very competent, loving care while there. Drop off and pick up is a breeze. Photos and videos are sent throughout the day, to the delight of me and my family. The owners are kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I feel lucky to have found them!

The way our beloved dog Avi greets Betsy of Bowser's Best Buddy is incredible to watch. Avi ADORES his time with her and has a wonderful experience learning and practicing new skills in their sessions. We are grateful to have an extension of love and care for our boy through Bowser's. Betsy and Amelia are truly exceptional. I’ve been bringing my dog to their daycare every week for nearly three years, and when it comes to boarding, I choose them over friends or family—because I know he’ll be genuinely loved, well cared for, and have an even better time. They treat him with the same affection and attention I would, and that trust means everything. There’s nowhere else I’d rather have him stay. Plus, he gets to play and socialize with other dogs, which he absolutely loves!

Just a follow up to my initial review: A couple years in I cannot say enough good things about Bowser’s Best Buddy. Gary has now boarded with them and that was a huge help & success as it was a last minute thing. Prices have remained the same (very reasonable) and service top notch! Upon arriving back in Portland, I needed a dog walker as my remote job gave way to an on-site job. After being ignored by a couple of different providers, Betsy responded promptly, set up a meeting and now my guy, Gary, is the happiest pup on the block. She's priced fairly, provides excellent service (pictures of every walk and attention to Gary's well being), is an A+ communicator and just a generally great care-taker. I couldn't be any happier with Bowser's and Betsy and, as a fanatical fan of my dog, recommend her without hesitation.

I have been taking my dog to Betsy and Amelia for almost a year now for daycare and she always has SO much fun with them and the other dogs. My dog always races to their door when we show up in the morning because she's so excited! I love that she has a fun, safe place to hang out while I'm in the office and I love that I get pictures and videos of her being spoiled all day and she comes home pooped from all the play time. I also got to experience their dog sitting services a couple weeks ago while I was out of town for a week and, as expected, the care was fabulous. I received plenty of pictures and videos while I was gone. She got plenty of walks and play time as well as snuggles. I also loved that they allowed my dog to sleep with them since this is what she is used to at home. I know my dog feels very at home with them which makes me feel so much better about leaving her here during the day or for a longer trip, knowing she's always in good hands. I see it every day when I take my girl in for day care, she loves Betsy and Amelia; I couldn't recommend them more.

I’ve known Betsy and used her walking and training services with several dogs during that time. She’s a professional, a great communicator and consistent. Dogs love her. They learn so much and become better dogs just by walking with her. I am having her train me and my current dog now. Amelia is a great addition to the team. She has grown up with dogs, loves them and has learned from Betsy. I recommend them and trust them 100%.

My dogs love her and I think she's the best. At first I needed her services to walk my dogs when I broke my foot. I still have her walk my dogs twice a week because it's a special treat for them. Like a short holiday. I trust her to pay attention and keep my dogs safe. She uses special treats for dietary purposes. She takes pictures and videos onnevery walk so I'm included in the fun. Most of all she treats my dog like they're special and as she likes to say the "BEST" dogs.

Betsy and Amelia have been caring for our precious pup for 6 years. She attends daycare weekly and always has a great time. She bounds up the steps when we arrive and (if I’m being honest) is a little disappointed when she has to go home. As a small local business they are able to build relationships with their human clients and, more importantly, know the needs of their 4-legged clients. We are extremely happy with their services and recommend them highly.

We have known Betsy and her daughter, Amelia, for the last 7 1/2 years, when we brought our dog Daisy home as a 10 week old puppy. We have used all of Betsy’s services that she offers. As a puppy, Betsy taught her, and us, basic commands and manners, and was so much more helpful than the basic puppy kindergarten class we took her to! Daisy has daily walks during the work week but also has attended doggy day care. Betsy is always careful to match temperament and play styles so all the dogs will have fun in a safe environment. Daisy comes home tired and very happy! We have also boarded her at Betsy’s when we were out of town - the only thing we worried about was if she would be happy to see us after having so much fun at Betsy and Amelia’s! They provide an update and photos/videos of her visits so that you can see what they’ve done that day. They care for Daisy like she’s their own and Daisy absolutely loves them. We really cannot say enough wonderful things about Bowser’s Best Buddy!
