Brought my cat in for some ear problems. They handled him super well, despite how agitated he was. Communicated well, explained when I asked questions and felt very reasonably priced! Fantastic place, I will be going back.
I started taking my cocker Spaniels to Brakken about a year ago. At first everything seemed okay. They did okay with their care but it got so everytime I walked in the door for check ups on my dogs before I walked out I would have a $500 bill. I took them in for a rabies shot and before I left I had another $500 bill. They did different tests and such that I did not approve of nor was it warranted. I changed vets and won't return to this one.
Why do I keep going back? It’s because of how my 97 lb fur baby is treated, along with how they explain everything with me.
Dr. Brakken has cared for my cats since 1998. This covers a lot of cats, as we always have at least two or three, and up to five. Throughout this time, she and her staff have always been up front with the hard decisions, and have developed emotional attachments to their patients, will remaining professional. Most of my cats haven't been particularly upset to visit them, and several are/have been particularly happy and cooperative, becoming favorite patients. I recommend Brakken whole-heartedly without reservation.
She was very informative and made everything easy to understand!
Dr Jane Brakken is a wonderful vet. So pleased with the 20+ years of support she has provided our family. Jane again was a wonderful provider on this sad day where another one of our pets came to end of life. Thank you.
Dr. Brakken’s staff are always so kind and helpful. I appreciate that Dr. Brakken takes the time to explain things thoroughly and goes through my options with me regarding care for my pets. She also never tries to sell me unnecessary services or diagnostics, but she makes sure all my pets are extremely well cared for and as healthy as they can be. I also really appreciate that if there is an issue that is more urgent, they can almost always find space in their schedule to see my pets instead of offering an appointment weeks out or telling me I need to go to an emergency vet. I will take my very loved animals to Dr. Brakken for as long as she is around.
