After dealing with mold remediation in our Novato home, we needed a thorough air duct cleaning to make sure our indoor air quality was actually safe, and Breathable delivered beyond our expectations. Juan and his team were knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process —…
The service for my recent air duct cleaning was excellent! Thank you! Alex led the crew and he was very detailed oriented and conscientious. We did not have an extra filter for the furnace, which had not been changed for far too long as it is in the crawl space and very hard (impossible for me) to reach. After…
We hired Breathable to come out to our San Francisco apartment for a full vent and furnace cleaning, and were very thorough. Felipe and the team was professional and efficient. I would recommend Breathable for vent cleaning services.
Juan and his team did a great job at our home in Campbell. We had them do a Type B cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and insulation on the duct supply in our garage. I recently had Breathable come out to our home in Orinda for duct cleaning and inspection, and I was really impressed with how the whole experience went. Juan's team of technicians were clearly experienced — they got to work quickly and didn't waste any time diagnosing issues with our ductwork. What stood out to me…
We had a Type B post-construction HVAC cleaning done after some recent remodeling left sanding dust throughout the house. Scheduling & communication with the owner was very easy. Alex arrived and got to work right away. They covered the floors, vacuumed the system thoroughly, and cleaned the outside of the fan. When…
Breathable came out to our home twice each time before our babies were born 4 years apart. They are very respectful and competent technicians. Our indoor air quality improved dramatically both times. Highly recommended!
I'm really glad I went with Breathable to handle the air duct cleaning in our home in Alameda. From the start, the process was smooth — the quote came back quickly and was very reasonable, and Nir was responsive and patient about answering all my questions and concerns. Juan and his crew were fantastic: prompt,…
Breathable came highly recommended by our AC and furnace company, and they truly did not disappoint. Our crew leader Alex was polite, detail-oriented, and took the time to thoroughly evaluate what we needed before putting together a clear plan to improve our indoor air quality and furnace operation. Even though the…
Alex and team were clean and thorough. Will use them again.
We bought an older home in Livermore that needed some real TLC, and had Breathable Inc. out for air duct cleaning on a house with 16 vents and 2 furnaces. The difference has been huge. Filipe, who was soft-spoken, sweet, and clearly passionate about his work, and his teammate worked from 8am to 4pm, reconnecting…
Had duct cleaning done by Breathable recently and I'm genuinely impressed with how much better the job was compared to a previous service I had done by another company. The difference in quality was noticeable right away. Felipe and the team were professional, courteous, and clearly knew what they were doing — the…
Alex and his Breathable team were fantastic. We had never had our ducts cleaned in the 28 years we've lived in our house in Walnut Creek. They not only did a very thorough and methodical cleaning, but they also got a bathroom fan working again that had been out of commission for number of years. They took the…
I recently had Breathable come out to my San Mateo house for HVAC vent cleaning, and Juan led the crew in doing an absolutely awesome job. Had Breathable come out to my home in Danville for air duct cleaning and couldn't be happier with the service. I'm very happy with the duct cleaning service I received from Breathable in San Jose. Two HVAC technicians arrived ahead of the scheduled time and were courteous enough to wait 10 minutes for me to get home from work. Alex and his partner spent a solid 4 hours thoroughly cleaning the ducts and furnace, and they even…

We have been loyal customers of Breathable for many years across multiple properties, and they continue to exceed our expectations. Recently, we completed several home renovations that resulted in a persistent basement dust smell coming through our vents whenever our HVAC system was running. After trying two other…
Wow! All the stars! The only regret we have about Breathable is not finding them years ago. We recently had a mold issue in our bedroom due to water intrusion from a faulty window installation. I contacted Breathable as they are one of the few companies I found capable of doing full HVAC mold remediation. From first…
Wonderful service. Alex and his team cleaned the heater and the ducts at my sisters house. They were efficient and professional. Would definately recommend them.
Felipe was great and the team did excellent work. Nir was available as needed for additional explanations. We were very happy with the service.
The 3-man team From Breathable, Inc that came out on to perform the air duct cleaning service did a great job! They arrived on time and were well organized. Alex’s team was very professional and very through in my air duct cleaning in Oakland. They had a crew come over and they clearly knew what they were doing and got to work right away by cleaning my ducts, and furnace fans. I also got some nice tips on what may need replacement down the road. Thanks guys!
After contacting several cleaning services around the SF area, I wasn't able to find a service that didn't subcontract out the service until Breathable was recommended. I knew once I spoke with the owner Nir, that I was in good hands. I finished a remodeling project that involved installing new hvac vents, but the…
We had Breathable Air Duct Cleaning come out in November 2025 and they did a really great job. The team was extremely professional—they taped everything off before starting and completely cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They did a thorough job vacuuming the entire ductwork system in our house, and…
I recently hired Breathable for a vent cleaning and sealing service, and I am beyond impressed with the work done by Filipe and his team. Alex and his crew did an awesome job cleaning the air ducts and dryer vent/duct in my San Francisco home. The 3-men crew came early, covered the surrounding area of each vent with plastic, removed the vent covers and washed them before cleaning the air ducts. They discovered issues with each register boot not…
Felipe's crew did an excellent job with our air duct cleaning and even identified some unsealed register boots to seal for $30/each. He was thorough, efficient, and respectful of our home (took off shoes on our request)! Professional, reliable, and easy to work with--I would recommend to anyone in Oakland looking for quality air duct cleaning.
Felipe and his team did an outstanding job cleaning our furnace ducts in San Francisco. They were hard-working, paid attention to detail, and were thoughtful about caring for our home. I would definitely hire Breathable again.
Breathable was a great choice for our recent air duct cleaning. It was incredibly easy to book and pay online. The team, let by Alex, showed up on time, was very careful and thorough and did a great job. The entire process was easy and we received great service. We'll definitely be using them again when needed. I high recommend their services!
Filipe and his crew did a fantastic job cleaning our jigsaw puzzle home today! Our home in SF is over 100 years old, and had been added onto or structurally changed more times than we know - we truly do not know what the original house is versus new rooms. All this to say, the house is a labyrinth and can be tricky…
Felipe and his crew did a great job of cleaning the air ducts and dryer vent. They arrived on time, and as I showed Felipe the location of each duct, his team began laying plastic sheets to protect the flooring. They carefully maneuvered the equipment around the house while they methodically vacuumed each duct.…
Alex and his crew were very thorough. Covered all areas which could get dirty. I had a bad experience with previous duct cleaners only inserted the brush a couple of feet into the ducts and it was considered clean. This team inserted it very far into the ducts and they also dissasembled and cleaned the furnace…
I’ve used this company several times to clean our air ducts and furnace and change the filter on our furnace. It helps me tremendously with my allergies and asthma. The crew (headed by Alex) was professional and efficient. Definitely recommend!
Alex and the team from Breathable did a spectacular job with air duct deep clean in our San Mateo home. It's an OLD house with an OLD furnace and they went above and beyond to not only clean all of our duct work, but they also helped troubleshoot an electrical problem with the furnace to make sure it would turn on.…
I've hired Breathable 2 times in the last few years and each time they did a good job - arrived on time, were tidy and quick, and as a result of their cleaning, I think my kids and I feel less allergic afterwards. Today I had Alex as the lead tech and he did a great job. Thank you Alex and Breathable.
Juan and his crew from Breathable did an excellent job with our air duct cleaning. They showed up right on time and were incredibly professional and polite. The entire experience from getting a quote, to the ease of scheduling, communications back and forth was excellent. On the day of the job, Alex & his team were professional and ensured things were clean & orderly. Overall they did a great job.
Excellent work by Alex and team! The crew was professional and thorough in cleaning the entire HVAC system, and didn't try to upsell for any other work. After the cleaning, they also ensured the system was working as expected.
Alex and team did a wonderful and professional job. They were communicative, courteous and very thorough. In addition to cleaning, there was some replacement work needed for one of our ducts and they explained it and took care of it very promptly. Nir was also friendly and helpful in explaining the work needed over the phone. Highly recommend this service!
We found Breathable while preparing to have our furnace ducts cleaned prior to turning on the furnace this year, between traffic and construction dust and general particulate matter in the air. They’re reliable, easy to work with, and I feel confident counting on them.
Juan and his team did a great job with our service. We had the Breathable crew come in and do an air duct system cleaning, as well as cleaning out our dryer vent. Juan and his team were friendly, professional and worked quickly. They showed up on time, put down protective plastic everywhere they worked, and helped…
Great service from start to finish! I needed the crawl space cleaned out because of previous rodent activity. I also needed all the vents in the crawl space replaced, which were damaged and torn up due to the activity. I called many HVAC companies to see who can do both jobs in one go. Breathable was one of the few…
I received the HVAC duct and vent cleaning service from Breathable last week. Noe and his colleague did a thorough cleaning on the vents and ducts, also help changed the filter. They did a great job and I am very satisfied with the service!
The entire process of contacting them to finishing the job happened within 4 days (including weekend). Very professional, responsive, and extremely honest people. Booked a whole house duct cleaning service from breathable Noe and his team did a great job, reasonable price and quick response, 10/10. Highly recommend
Been in our house for 12 years. Never had a cleaning of the ducts done. Nico and his team arrived right on time and and did a thorough job, took care to keep everything tidy while working, and identified a few major issues (like a detached vent pipe) that we weren't aware of. Thanks!
We hired Breathable for the Type X cleaning + HEPA filter install in our new home, and we were shocked at the difference in air quality after a few days. The air felt heavy and full of particulate beforehand, and now feels sweet, light and pure. It feels so good to breathe such clean air in our own home! Lucio and…
We just had the Type X system reset done on our house by the folks at Breathable, and I am pleased to say that it was a great experience working with the team. They responded promptly to the service, answered all of my questions, and found some additional problems that they agreed to fix on the spot! I am grateful…
Great company, reliable, honest, and affordable. I really enjoy working with Nir and his team. I worked with them 2 years ago and he remembered me and made me feel like a valued customer. Originally I hired them a couple years ago to deep clean my vents and add a giant filter on my HVAC system. This time it was to…
Great and thorough service at competitive price. I had issue with my HVAC vent system and Breathable showed great care of details, investigating the problems and finally fixing it (where other contractors failed).
Went to Breathable based on my furnace installer's recommendation, and was very glad to do so. The quotes were transparent, and easy to understand. The crew was courteous, and got to work right away. They did a great job cleaning all the ducts - furnace, dryer & bathroom, and even had some suggestions on better maintenance. Highly recommended.
The team did a very thorough job of cleaning our HVAC system. The before and after photos were pretty dramatic. I'm a repeat customer and think they're great.
We have used Breathable twice since 2018. Their team has been thorough, professional and responsible consistently both times. They explained everything they were doing, made suggestions for us to take better care of our HVAC system and identified issues that were not in their scope of services but we had to repair.…
Our new home wasn’t heating evenly so I called the most highly rated HVAC companies on Yelp to get a consultation. Two came by and quickly recommended that we replace our entire ductwork with brand new ducts, but for entirely different reasons. So I reached out to Breathable for an objective paid duct leakage test.…
Nir and team are great! We had them over a number of years back and I forgot how much we enjoyed the improvement in air quality after the reset. Their services have expanded since they last serviced our home and we were able to make some major improvements that will benefit us as long as we're here. Specifically we…
We had a great experience with the Breathable team. We scheduled this cleaning as we were expecting a baby. Nir was very responsive and scheduled our service within a day. On the day of service, we had a team of 3 that visited our house. They were very considerate - wore masks the whole time and also used floor…
I had a great experience with Breathable on 2/11/22. Nir was very responsive to my emails and various questions. Jose and the two other men who cleaned my ducts and furnace (type B reset) were thorough, respectful of my home, and educated me on the process. Before and after photos were a plus! Definitely worth the money.
Just had "Type X" system reset service performed by Breathable's crew, and noticed an immediate difference in our new home. Before they came, we found ourselves sneezing a lot from all the dust and debris in our vents. The crew was quick and professional. They also cleaned out our clogged bathroom vent fans as a…
Jose team of breathable came to my house to clean my vent and duct. Three technicians worked 2 hours to clean everything. I picked the advanced Type B system cleaning. As they described in their quote, they took out the blower fan and all the vents, and brush clean them. And they swept every vent I have. They also…
The Breathable team gets 5 stars + for all around great service. Specifically: 1. Scheduling: I sent a generic request for air-duct cleaning via Yelp to several companies. Breathable was the first to reply and provided a detailed quote with clear pricing. They were not the least expensive but were the most…
From start to finish, our experience with Breathable was excellent. We purchased the X service and bathroom fan cleaning. They also reconfigured our ducts to improve the air flow to the vents, resulting in a much more efficient heating system. Wish we had worked with them years earlier!
Had Breathable come out a few weeks ago to perform a Type X system reset (essentially deep cleaning and installation of a filtration system specifically designed for the bay area). Nir, the owner, was very quick in responding to my numerous inquiries and everything was clear from the start. His team that came in…
Based on the excellent reviews online about Breathable, I decided to go with them for my HVAC cleaning service. And they did not disappoint. Breathable has the professional team. From the quoting to service, the whole process is very smooth. They carefully helped us clean ducts, vents and dryer with high quality. My experience with Breathable was excellent from beginning to end. Nir was super responsive, patient, and so helpful in answering my many questions. He even took time to talk with me about whether to replace our furnace -- work his company doesn't even do -- and his insights and expertise were much appreciated. The…
Don't know why I waited 30 years to clean the furnace ducts, especially after a recent "bad" smell coming out of the ducts. I contacted one company, but they didn't service my area, but he highly recommended Breathable, and I'm so glad he did. The service team was great. They lined my floors with plastic before…
