Just picked up a few bags of black mini mulch here. Great, friendly service. Someone greeted me as soon as I parked and offered to load up the bags in my car for me. I just had to walk into the sales office to pay. Was in and out very quickly. Would definitely return for future landscaping needs!

Very helpful staff. The samples are labeled by binary or row as to where on site you can find items, like rocks. Load your car or truck and then park in a space. Go to counter to give them name of item(s) and quantity . They will check. Pay at desk and your good to go. They have fork lifts and a bulldozer to load large items or quantities. Great selection of stone and rock.
For people who have a solid understanding of retaining wall construction: the pricing is fair, and they offer a wide selection of beautiful stone. Delivery is available, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They also carry solid retaining wall blocks that are commonly used by experienced and expert wall builders. These are the same type of blocks frequently referenced by professionals (for example, builders featured on YouTube channels like Dirt Monkey). A particularly nice touch is that they also stock factory half blocks, which makes layout, corners, and clean terminations much easier without excessive cutting. However, there are some important quality issues worth noting. The 3/4” angular drain rock contains a significant amount of dust and fine particles. It is not properly washed, even though the price is comparable to cleaned drain rock in the market. While this does not completely eliminate drainage function, it is definitely not ideal and can negatively affect long-term performance. The SRW 3oz non-woven filter fabric is, frankly, inadequate for real retaining wall drainage. If you wrap drain rock behind a retaining wall with this fabric and then place about 6 inches of soil on top for planting, clogging is almost guaranteed. Once fine soil migrates into the fabric, water flow is quickly blocked. For comparison, I later purchased 8oz non-woven filter fabric, which performs significantly better in terms of filtration and long-term permeability. The geogrid selection is acceptable and was available (Allan Block biaxial geogrid). However, the stronger direction (thicker strands) runs longitudinally, which is not ideal for retaining wall applications. As a result, the grid must be cut into pieces to orient it correctly. Overall, they offer many beautiful stone options and good availability. But when it comes to the quality of drain rock and filter fabric, I strongly recommend doing your own research and verification. At the very least, do not assume the supplied materials meet drainage-grade standards without checking.

In terms of your concerns, on rare occasions, we will get a load of rock that might have some sediment in it; and of course some dust flies around our yard. Therefore, it’s nearly impossible for us to keep all of our rock completely dust-free. Because of this, it is common industry practice to rinse off the rock before it is put in place. It is surprising to hear that you had issues with the filter fabric. We have been selling this fabric for years without issue. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. In the picture you posted, the fabric looks like it could actually be Weed Fabric not Filter Fabric. Filter Fabric is specifically made to be used for drainage applications. It isn’t as shiny as Weed Fabric which is only used to prevent weeds under rocks and soil. The 2 items are vastly different and clearly marked as such in our warehouse. I had to change my review on this place. After a long association with them and spending over $80,000 over the past few years at Broadmoor . The place has really gone to hell. Bad prices, bad service. Bad attitude and some know it all named Elka i think her name is. What happened to the other guy the, tall guy he was great , what's his name Tom or maybe Ted, Tim? That guy made all my projects work, but This place really has lost the spirit that has made it work since 1955. Sadly I won't be back again... Below is my original post from 3 years ago I went to Broadmoor Landscape supply, for our back yard. They hooked us up with the best turf , most realalistic turf we've ever seen, a great rock boarder and stone walk way. Looks beautiful. Great prices, and easy in an out, the service was exceptional. The best landscape supply in town. Highly recommend !!
Been actually pretty disappointed with Broadmore landscape supply lately, the other day I came in and one thing that threw me off was that the new owner ELKE was talking very negative about the employees in the main area near the check out stand, and it sucked to hear because I’ve been going for years and I’ve never had a negative experience with any of the yard workers or sales reps , this use to be my one stop shop for all my materials, but since new management, seems like the store has really gone down, don’t carry a lot of the stuff they use to, and also really sucks they took out the pond I use to take a few minutes and just admire it when I would come in, brought a little peace from the stress of work that’s is one thing I will really miss, but due to the lack of materials I don’t find myself shipping there that often anymore , witch is sad because that use to be my everyday shopping store
