10/10 across the board, I gotta give all of you 5 stars! Buca has always been special to me and my girlfriend. It’s where we had one of our first dates, (we LOVE pasta) but I thought it was only fitting that be where we celebrate our engagement and from the manager Robert, to our server Bre, to the wonderful line…
Mara was very attentive and super nice. Love the food as always especially the lunch combo options now.
The food was tasty and came in generous portions so expect leftovers though the service could have been more attentive and friendly especially since the restaurant was nearly empty.

Good food great atmosphere

I have been eating at Buca for 20 years as it is close to my house. It was always incredible place. I have been to the Buca inside the restaurant many times, so the experience while at restaurant was always great and is still cool but these days I mostly order delivery. With this being said, I'm pointing out that i'm not writing this out of some malicious intent as I loved the place and I hope things do change. I don't know what happened since COVID but obviously the chain is not run by the same people. Since it was purchased by conglomerate the quality of food has gone down the drain completely. This used to be a place that had everything home made and sauces made fresh from real ingredients. Since COVID everything has been switched to these premade, artificial sauces that are honestly just gross (especially Pappardelle Bolognese ewww). My favorite Spicy Chicken Rigatoni is this moosh of pasta that completely melts/smooshes in your mouth. Meat sauces or red sauces especially have this chemical aftertaste including pasta. Honestly until the quality goes up in food and sauces like they used to be I'm sadly not eating at Buca anymore. What a shame for a place that was once absolutely incredible italian food. I don't know if this skimping on quality is for delivery only (I don't see why) and possibly eating in is higher quality food these days but overall I'm saddened to see this place I loved is not what it once used to be.
