Buddha Builders was exceptional! We hired Colby and his crew to help transform our large, sloping lawn into a beautiful patio, perfect for entertaining or relaxing. Like many properties in North Bend, they had to solve the problem of how to turn uneven terrain into functional spaces, which they did by building a couple of retaining walls. These thoughtful additions cleverly tie together elements of the landscape and an existing shed. The crew was punctual, kept the site tidy, and was easy to work with when making small adjustments. The finished hardscaping blends seamlessly into the other aspects of the yard, and the vision created by Buddha Builders really helped to transform our yard into a gorgeous living space. We highly recommend them, and would hire Buddha Builders again. (The photos show some before and after pictures of our amazing yard transformation. Couldn't be happier! Thanks!)

We hired Buddha Builders for a smaller paver project at our home, and they treated it with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail as a much larger job. They installed a new paver pad for a shed we planned to have installed, and the finished product looked fantastic. The crew was punctual, communicated clearly throughout the process, and left the site clean at the end of each day. The workmanship was excellent, and the new pavers blended seamlessly with the existing landscape. It's refreshing to find a contractor who takes pride in every project, regardless of size. We truly appreciated their craftsmanship and professionalism and would absolutely hire Buddha Builders again.

We hired Buddha Builder for a challenging hillside project at our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Their team built beautiful natural stone stairways on both side yards and installed stunning walkways using Grey Mist sandstone accented with granite cobblestones. One of our favorite features is the low-voltage lighting system they installed, which not only enhances the look of the project but also makes the steps much safer at night. Everything is WiFi-connected and can be controlled through an app on your phone or even with your smart home speaker, which is incredibly convenient. Their attention to detail throughout the project was outstanding. They carefully incorporated river rock drainage solutions, and when they had to move several large boulders that were previously being used as steps, they creatively repurposed them as decorative landscape features. I would absolutely recommend Buddha Builder to anyone in the greater Seattle area looking for high-quality retaining walls, natural stone patios and walkways, landscape lighting, or other high-end outdoor living projects.

We live in the View Ridge area of northeast Seattle in a house built in the late 1940s. Our sidewalk had become a tripping hazard, and we worried that our sloping and cracked concrete driveway would eventually channel water into our garage and finished basement. Replacing both wasn’t a huge job but having it done well and attractively was important to us. Happily, our experience with Buddha Builders far exceeded expectations. We found Buddha Builders website and, on the strength of his clients’ glowing reviews, called owner Colby Atkinson. We were immediately impressed with his friendly manner, experience, and communication skills. We really liked his specific proposals for our projects and felt confident he was the right contractor for us. We hired him on the spot. We found working with Colby and Buddha Builders effortless. He proposed a very attractive design, using the beautiful Catalina Grana style of Belgard pavers for both projects. The curving walkway integrates very well with the existing porch and a natural stone patio that abuts it. The attention to detail was outstanding. The properly installed polymeric sand in joints enhances the appearance and also helps with durability and weed prevention. His hardworking crew was able to start our project sooner than we expected. They removed the old concrete expeditiously while also being careful not to damage our existing plants. They installed a channel drain system in the new driveway that will capture and re-route heavy rainfall. Colby kept us informed about the work schedule and was always quick to respond if we had any questions. We are delighted with the quality and craftsmanship of their work. The result is not only very attractive but also provides a major enhancement to our property. Buddha Builders also tackles much larger and more ambitious outdoor projects. If you are looking for an experienced and trustworthy contractor that specializes in paver driveways, walkways, and hardscape design and that you can count on to do excellent work in your home’s outdoor spaces, do yourself a favor and call Buddha Builders.

We live in Issaquah and hired a local veteran owned outdoor living space design build company, Buddha Builders to build a bluestone natural stone patio next to our TimberTech composite deck, and the results are incredible. The thermal bluestone patio was installed over a properly compacted base with precise grading and drainage for our Pacific Northwest climate. They finished the joints with Gator Max polymeric sand, which locked everything in place, minimized weeds, and created a clean, high-end finish. The transition from the TimberTech decking to the natural stone patio is seamless and beautifully detailed. Their timeliness and communication were outstanding. They stayed on schedule, kept us informed daily, and worked efficiently while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship. The quality is truly high-end, even though the project moved quickly. Phase 2 includes FX Luminaire landscape lighting, irrigation, and a natural stone pathway. The FX Luminaire lighting plan will highlight the bluestone patio, TimberTech deck, and planting areas while adding safety and ambiance at night. If you’re in Issaquah looking for a contractor specializing in natural stone patios, composite decking, polymeric sand installations, outdoor lighting, and full backyard transformations, Buddha Builders delivers fast, professional, high-quality work.

We live in Kirkland and hired Buddha Builders to completely transform our backyard, and the results are incredible. They built a freestanding single pitch patio cover with elegant woodwork and a beautiful cedar tongue and groove soffit that instantly elevated the entire space. The custom outdoor fireplace with natural stone walls and a matching stone cap is the true focal point, especially set on top of the stunning porcelain paver patio. The patio was professionally installed and edged with natural stone, giving it a clean, high-end finish. They also installed a gorgeous stepping stone walkway with decorative gravel and elegant landscape lighting throughout the entire project, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere at night. What truly impressed us was how they revitalized our old retaining wall in Kirkland. They pressure washed it, removed years of growth, added a new natural stone cap, and installed lighting underneath the cap. It now looks elegant, expensive, and completely renewed instead of old and dilapidated. If you’re looking for a custom patio cover, porcelain pavers, natural stone fireplace, retaining wall restoration, or landscape lighting in Kirkland, Buddha Builders delivers exceptional craftsmanship and luxury outdoor living.

We live in Issaquah and hired Buddha Builders to design and build a custom natural stone patio and A-frame patio cover, and the results exceeded every expectation. They transformed our sloped hillside backyard by cutting into the grade, creating a perfectly leveled outdoor living space with proper drainage and expert excavation. The natural stone patio is absolutely stunning, especially with the contrasting stone border that frames the entire space and gives it a high-end, luxury finish. The A-frame patio cover is beautifully built and structurally solid, with built-in speakers, an outdoor television, a custom fireplace, and a ceiling fan that keeps the space comfortable during hot summer days in Issaquah. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall design make this the ultimate outdoor living space. If you’re looking for a natural stone patio, hillside leveling, retaining work, or a custom patio cover in Issaquah, Buddha Builders delivers true luxury outdoor living. Five stars.

We recently hired Buddha Builders, to completely transform hardscaping in Redmond, Washington. They replaced our cracked concrete walkway with a beautiful new paver path and rebuilt our old circular driveway that previously had worn-out pavers. The new design features new pavers with a clean double border that ties everything together seamlessly. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding—from precise leveling and cutting to a perfectly symmetrical layout that adds instant curb appeal. The finished result is elegant, functional, and built to last. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Buddha Builders for anyone looking to elevate their outdoor space with high-quality paver work and design expertise.
