Builders Estimating & Exam School (BEES)

Just finished my first GC prep class at Builders Estimating & Exam School (BEES) and honestly had a really good experience. Mr. Peter is a great guy. Very patient, very helpful, and he really cares that everybody understands the material. He explains things in a way that makes the class feel much less stressful and easier to follow. Liz was amazing too. She helped me with everything before getting there, especially because I’m not from the Sarasota area, and she made the whole process super easy for me. English is not my first language, so I was nervous about understanding all the material and keeping up with the class, but Mr. Peter did a great job explaining everything clearly and making it easier to understand. I left feeling much more confident. Really happy I signed up and definitely recommend this school to anybody preparing for the GC exam.

BEES construction class has been very successful. Peter is an excellent teachers and very knowledgeable in what he does. I do recommend BEES in Sarasota, if you are looking to get a construction license. Thank you to Liz and Peter!

I recently completed the Fire Contractor I test course, and I wanted to express my appreciation. The course was very instructive and made the actual exam feel much easier compared to the practice tests provided in class. Thank you to the instructor and the entire team for the time and effort you put into preparing us. It was truly worth the price. Thanks, John

Awesome course! I’m an electrician, I took the 4 day electrical, and 1 day business course. Peter was my instructor and he is very knowledgeable. He goes through every book, page by page and informing you what the content is talking about. I passed my 100 question technical exam, and I can confidently say I wouldn’t have been able to do so without taking this course with Peter.

Passed contractors II first try. As advertised

BEE's is fantastic! Pete and Liz are very professional and knowledgable and the course was absolutely needed to pass my exams the first time. Pete is a wealth of knowledge and teaches you to know your books rather than rely on highlighting and tabs. While tabbing and highlighting is helpful for some people, Pete ensures that each student learns each book inside and out. Other GC exam companies require a tremendous amount of homework prior to and during classes in which BEE's does not require such tedious tasks. BEE's does send you home with practice exams to do on your own time prior to your exams which you do at your own pace. It is critical to use as many practice exams as possible so that you know each book like the back of your hand. Without BEE's, I dont know if I would have been able to pass my exams the first time. Thank you Pete, Liz, and BEE's Team!

Took the contracts 1 fire protection test no school, failed, took the class Monday - Wednesday, studied Thursday and tested Friday and Passed. This class put me at ease and provide the confidence I needed to pass. Knowing the way the books are actually structured I learned in class and assist me greatly. I highly recommend this class. Instructor was great !

I passed all 3 exams on the first try for the Florida Residential Contractors license. I have other licenses in Florida and I know how the testing works so when I called BEES I asked them how they teach their class. They said they teach to pass the test! That was the answer I needed and wanted to hear. They provide a great classroom experience with Pete at the helm. He is very knowledgeable and keeps it fun as well. This course is well worth what you pay for it.(the "tabs" for the books were key in the tests - get the tabs!) Liz and Jana will help you answer all your questions prior to joining as well as after you have completed the course. It is always nice to have a team in place as we go through this process and I am glad to have found these guys! Thank you BEES!

I attended the Contractors Exam Prep coarse and it was an excellent experience. Pete did an outstanding job teaching the course, making complex topics easy to understand. The course provided all the necessary tools and resources needed to pass the exam. It was a fantastic beginning to my journey in the contracting field, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to increase their chances of passing the FL Builder Contractors exam.

I felt inclined to leave this review because this exam school doesn’t just help contractors pass a test, they help small businesses keep there way of living. The staff in the office are exceptional and Peter is outstanding; Peter can balance a class full of students and also be so attentive to each one; he was so helpful for me, he really cares about students passing the test. Also Jana and liz are absolutely amazing and were available for any questions I had about the classes and the books! 10/10 go here. P.S Happy Birthday Jana!!
