I first learned about BAC from a flyer posted on a community board at a local library. I'm grateful to have connected with this organization as a small business owner in the Northeast Ohio region. The services offered are tailored to each founder's unique needs and the team is passionate about their work.

I have been receiving business counseling from them for many years. I've received so much helpful information that has directly added to the value of my business, that I never would have known otherwise. The counselors who they match you up with are professional and dedicated. As a sole proprietor, it's so helpful to have the counselors to discuss things with. I don't feel as alone as I normally would. I highly recommend Business Advisers of Cleveland to anyone looking to start, change or improve their business!

Seemed more interested in belittling my ideas and rewriting them with their own than actually listening to me. Maybe if you're part of their little "club" they'll treat you better, but if your business is brick and mortar retail, I'd advise you look for help elsewhere.

Hi Rebecca - We're sorry the experience didn't meet your expectations; we certainly didn't "belittle" your ideas. We're volunteers interested in supporting small businesses in Cleveland and the surrounding areas, including retail, with what we hope is useful and helpful business planning and execution advice. The advice may not apply to you, but we're glad you came regardless. Best of luck in your endeavor!

The Business Advisers of Cleveland (BAC) have been an incredible resource for our business! With their mentorship, we refined our business model and vision, which ultimately helped us win the GLIDE Innovation Grant B.
One of the things we loved most about working with BAC was the flexibility of the mentorship. It’s not a rigid, structured relationship—it’s a partnership that feels natural. The mentors are available when you need them, so the support never feels forced, and you’re able to focus on what matters most in your business.
A special thanks to John and the BAC team for their thoughtful guidance, tough questions, and actionable advice. They didn’t just prepare us for a pitch competition—they equipped us to tackle the day-to-day challenges of running a business.
If you’re a startup or small business looking for expert support from a team that truly understands entrepreneurs, we highly recommend BAC. Their knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to helping businesses succeed are unmatched.

The BEST expierence by far on my journey as a new business owner. I am beyond grateful and look forward to continuing working with BAC. I have had the opportunity to work with different organizations who support small businesses and NONE of those companies mean BUSINESS like BAC when it comes to the hands on support BAC provides. TOP TIER.
