We take reviews seriously, and anyone reading this deserves the facts. We did not ghost this customer. After the damage was reported, we responded in writing several times, and at our own expense we hired an independent water-intrusion company that had no prior relationship with us. The customer agreed to that inspection in advance. The inspection used thermal imaging, leak detection, and 118 photographs. It found no water accumulation or abnormal moisture in the carpet, padding, or flooring, and no path of water traveling up from the floor into the wall. The written report concluded that the damage was not consistent with carpet-cleaning water, and it identified moisture and staining in the attic around the HVAC equipment, directly above the damaged area, as the credible source. Those are the report's own written findings, and we provided the customer the full copy. On payment: this service was paid by credit card, not cash. The charge was never disputed. Regarding the furniture, our crews do not move pieces that are secured to the wall, and there were a number of people in and out of the home that weekend. We stand by our work and our team.
