Bought a home with a great yard space that hadn’t been maintained in years. Todd saw our vision and made it happen! 2 dozen trees removed, 80% of the property graded, reshaped and seeded, shrubs and trees back in. Night and day difference! Cannot recommend them enough!

Thank you for the kind review Justin. I was and will continue to be a pleasure working with you. We will have to get together for a 12 yr. beverage and discuss the patio and future projects. Take care and again we sincerely appreciate the awesome review.

Todd, the owner, was personable and professional from the first conversation. He was completely transparent about pricing and the contract for the work performed. They weren't the cheapest quote we got, but the quality was worth every dollar!
We love our new brick patio. The crew protected the common area, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day, replaced the mulch, and reseeded the grass once the job was finished. They also guarantee their work for five years.
Highly recommend!

Cal and Shan's installed a patio and a walkway along the side of our house. They also installed a drainage system for all of our downspouts, adjusted the grade of the yard and installed sod. Every part of their work is outstanding. The employees were very hard working and precise. We knew the cost up front and the plan for payment. This company is top notch.

Todd, Ross, Jaime and the crew did an awesome job. Our landscaping and walkway were 30+ year old and looking kind of pathetic. Todd helped us figure out a new plan. They removed all the landscape and the sidewalk, poured a new stamped concrete walkway, put in a stone retaining wall, designed and installed all new plants and added low voltage lighting. At one point in the job we wanted a slightly different design. Todd was were very understanding, they actually tore out some materials and quickly pivoted to our new design without missing a beat. We don't know much about plants, lighting design and concrete....luckily they do. Great job, lots of compliments from our neighbors. Highly recommend. I guess now we need to start thinking about our backyard.......

Cal and Shans put in an all new brick garage approaches and entryways and it is a beautiful job. His men worked with us from start to finish on every detail about type of brick and overall pattern and details of curves and edges. His employees from Supervisor to tractor driver and real bricklayers were all super polite and many came to thanks us personally for the opportunity to work on our project. Our thanks to them for doing a terrific job.

We hired Cal and Shan’s to put in an in ground swimming pool with a sundeck. These guys are a do it all company. You don’t need to worry about hiring anyone else, they complete the project from start to finish.
The entire crew is knowledgeable, polite and hard working.
Jamie and crew went to extra lengths to make sure everything looked prestigious. The edging, making berms, moving tress and bushes. The Concrete Installation is exactly what we are looking for. The look of large pieces of limestone. They even moved rocks to a different location because the two deliveries turned out to be different shades. They go the extra mile to make sure everything looks perfect.
We had a few unexpected hic-ups and they just rolled with it.
Brian (the pool guy) was very knowledgeable and helped us make sure our new oasis looked the way we envisioned. The area where the components are is neat and all tubes marked so we know where they go. Brain gave us some ideas a long the way. Things we didn’t think of or know being new to pool ownership. Brain takes his time to make sure the pool is installed just right. All components are higher end. Brian treated our pool as if he was building it for his own home.
They had water delivered so they could get the liner wrinkles out and cut out the lights and skimmers. We only had to fill a little. (Big savings) .
Our yard looks amazing. Every place equipment was driven on they placed sod. They put edging around all landscape in our back yard. Todd and Ross make sure the team leaves the area so nice that you can’t even tell work was done. Our pool looks like it’s been there for years. Unfortunately it got too cold to remove the remaining wrinkles on the swim deck and stairs. They will need to finish just a few things in the spring! We are beyond happy with our choice to go with Cal and Shan’s.
You know that it’s a great company when you will miss the team coming to yout home! The entire crew is an amazing group of guys. Thank you team! Our yard is amazing. We can’t wait to swim next summer. (Or spring with the heater cranked).
I highly recommend Cal and Shan’s for your pool install.

Cal and Shan's designed and installed a landscaped accessible sidewalk for Wrightwood Condominiums of Lake Geneva. They were especially helpful in working with our board, answering our questions and tailoring the project. The results were great and pleased the residents.

Cal and Shan’s has transformed my home! Todd Manke designed an amazing oasis, building on many features that I requested but going far beyond to create a beautiful and welcoming outdoor space. His colleagues and staff are experts at their craft as well, making the entire experience smooth and rewarding.
The level of care and attention provided by Todd and his team exceeds at every turn. His expertise as a landscape architect and as a truly savvy businessman, with exceptional communication skills, were responsible for successfully navigating communications among the many external entities involved.
It was the largest home project I’ve been involved and I could not be more satisfied with the process nor the outcome.

We have could not asked for a more deserving recipient of the project then Michelle. We had many external restrictions prior to starting but we were able to work through it and the ends justified the means. We greatly appreciate the kind words and look forward to maintaining your property and to future projects. Enjoy the beautiful scape you deserve it 1000%.
