Caldera Electronics at a glance

Customers frequently cite the shop's ability to repair a wide range of audio equipment, from vintage amplifiers to modern synthesizers and keyboards, noting skilled diagnostics and reasonable pricing. Many reviewers highlight the technician's professionalism, friendliness, and quick turnaround times, often recommending the business for specialized work. However, one recurring criticism involves a lack of communication, with a customer reporting a three-week wait without updates before being charged for a diagnostic that found no fixable issue.

I ordered vintage ARP Odyssey MKII through a Reverb seller and it sustained a bit of damage during shipping. The seller recommended finding someone local to check it out to avoid shipping it again. Obviously, not a lot of people work on machines like this. Found Caldera online, and it looked like the place to go.…

Mateo is great. Super professional and knowledgeable. My PRS MT100 suddenly stopped working, and I have no knowledge of how to fix an amp. Googled amp repair in town, and he's the first shop to pop up. Turns out it was just a fuse, but knowing that he has the know how on how to fully diagnose the issue, and check…

Obviously, not a lot of people work on machines like this. Found Caldera online, and it looked like the place to go. As it turns out, it was absolutely the place to go. The owner Mateo got right on it and did a thorough diagnosis of the Odyssey. Luckily the damage was minor and he got right on it. The job was completed far quicker than I anticipated and he fulfilled/exceeded all expectations. Would absolutely recommend for any work needed on music gear. Judging by his shop, he can work on just about anything.
