Cali's West Catering & Express Take Out

The food itself was very good, and our guests enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the communication and day-of execution were frustrating enough that I can’t give a higher rating. We had confirmed several details in advance, but multiple things were still incorrect on the wedding day. We were supposed to receive gold silverware and instead received standard silverware. I had specifically said we did not need napkins, but they were brought anyway. Most frustratingly, the real glassware we had confirmed and paid for was not provided, and opaque plastic cups were brought instead, which was not what we had agreed on. I had also clearly designated a day-of contact so that I would not be interrupted with vendor logistics while getting married. Despite that, I was contacted directly during family portraits about changing the pickup time to the next morning. I redirected them to my point person, only for them to return at approximately 10:00 PM that same night anyway. This was especially disappointing because communication had already been difficult leading up to the wedding, including repeated delays in receiving the final payment link after I had asked for it multiple times and also needing to provide them my phone number three separate times. Again, the food was genuinely good, and that is absolutely worth noting. But for a wedding vendor, communication, attention to confirmed details, and respecting the couple’s day-of contact plan matter just as much. I appreciated the food, but the overall experience was far more stressful than it needed to be.

Very happy with quality, presentation and delivery. I used their drop off service for a home celebration. The wraps tray was fantastic, potato salad delicious, Ceasars salad huge. I will definitely use Cali's again for home catering!

We couldn't have asked for a better catering experience for our daughter's wedding. When rain forced us to make a last-minute change to the schedule, the entire team pivoted seamlessly, moving cocktail hour and dinner before the ceremony without missing a beat. Their professionalism and organization made what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless. The staff was friendly, attentive, and wonderful to work with. Most importantly, the food was absolutely amazing! Our guests couldn't stop talking about it, and even our wedding planner commented on how outstanding everything was. We are so grateful for everything your team did to help make the day such a success. We highly recommend you to anyone looking for exceptional food and outstanding service!

My husband and I used Cali's West Catering for our wedding this June in Western PA and we could not have been happier with their food and their service. The food was delicious and plentiful, and Nikki and her crew were absolutely fantastic. There were several things that fell through the cracks on our end in terms of planning, and they rolled with it on the day in such a way that we seriously could not have planned it better. The bar service was a huge hit, and many people complimented us on the food. Nikki and the rest of the staff went far beyond our expectations in terms of service and communication; the staff were cheerful and accommodating, and each interaction we had was another part of one of the best days our lives.

They catered my mom’s 90 birthday party this past weekend and did a great job. Everything was on time and tasted good. Only one problem way too much food. Lol. We had lots of leftovers but that was my bad. Btw I am a trained chef and worked front of the house in my late teens and in my twenties. I know the industry well and I booked this living in California. So if your from out of town, just know they can handle out of state jobs.

Cali’s did an amazing job catering a surprise party I hosted in January 2026 for about 50 people. Super easy to order from and communicate with. Definitely worth the delivery and set up, the guys did a great job with that and made the day-of way less stressful. The food was delicious (especially big fans of the cheeseburger sliders, apple & cranberry Bre, home made guac and meatballs). They even brought to go boxes, which was awesome. Would definitely use them again!!!
