My wife and I were looking for a catering company to serve at our wedding. From setup to serving, everything went seamlessly. The food was delicious and our guests were very happy with how well everything was presented and tasted. I recommend California Cookout - 5 stars in my book!

I can’t say enough thanks for this company. I had the pleasure to meet Nathan (owner) in an event and also worked for him for a couple of years. The first time I tried the trip-tip with home made chimichurri and chicken and BBQ sauce along with the sides, I fell in love with the flavor! Without forgetting the delicious drinks such as mango tea. I said to myself, when I marry, I will have them cater my wedding. And they did! It was a hit. Every guest I spoke to, they told me how delicious the food was and the drinks. I am so glad they did this memory to last a lifetime. For me, they deserve 10 stars. They cook delicious and have a welcoming and friendly attitude. And the bonus points that stand out from other caterers, is the tasting appointment. Couples are served full course of the food at not extra cost. I wish I could have some videos and pics to show you, but busyness did not help that day 😂. I wish you the best in your growing company. California Cookout catered our Celebration of Life reception in November. I appreciated Nathan's highly organized way of scheduling an event--he was very easy to work with and he asked all the right questions when we placed the order, so everything went smoothly from beginning to end. His team who worked at our event arrived on time, the service was friendly and efficient, the food was tasty (we got compliments from the other guests), and they did a great job cleaning up. On top of all that, they were a reasonable price, especially compared to other catering companies we called. I highly recommend California Cookout Catering!

Nathan was an amazing caterer and we couldn't be happier with the turnout of the food served at our wedding! Nathan was flexible at planning and worked closely with us to formulate a menu perfect for our guests (especially, children and vegetarians). Every question was answered and the communication leading up to the wedding was perfect. The food was all reasonably priced too! On the day of, overall service was great! Our guests loved the food; went for a bbq spread which consisted of sausage hot links, tri tip, and bbq chicken served with sides of mac n cheese, coleslaw, watermelon, and biscuits and our vegetarians had stuffed mushrooms and grilled veggies. Nathan was a thorough caterer, backed by a good team, and we'd highly recommend him for any catering occasion! Even post-wedding, Nathan went above and beyond to make sure all was well and taken care of too. Thank you so much Nathan!

Nathan and California Cookout really were a huge part of the success of our wedding. The professionalism and food were top-notch. Nathan created a filling and tasty menu that our guests loved. They also allowed us to add kimchi and a vegan option, enabling us to really customize and represent ourselves. They were on time and didn't need anything to complete their job. We appreciated them so much. We absolutely recommend them.

We hired California Cookout for our wedding, and the food was SO GOOD. I want to have another event just to eat the food again. Nathan was so great about talking through our options for allergies and dietary restrictions. The serving team on the day of was so fast and efficient and there was plenty of food for seconds. Some of the most popular items were the Santa Barbara salad, penne alfredo, tri tip, balsamic and mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had berry and peach cobbler with ice cream. Both were great- I especially liked the berry!

California Cookout recently catered my son’s wedding. We were extremely pleased with the beautiful charcuterie board for our cocktail hour and the delicious western Bbq for dinner. Everything was fantastic. The serving staff was also amazing. Super professional and very fun and friendly. The owner Nathan was extremely nice to talk with over the phone, getting the menu planned and finalized, as well as discussing all of the necessary details of the actual day. I would highly recommend California Cookout for anyone looking for a great catering experience.

10/10 Nathan and his staff were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire planning process and our wedding! They made everything clear and easy. Andrew especially was incredible - so accommodating. We had a few guests with allergies and they were happy to have a separate salad for those guests. Super punctual and responsive to all of our questions. Everyone complimented the food. A major hit were the grilled cheese and tomato bisque shooters! I cannot recommend them more! Thank you Nathan, Andrew, and staff! You helped make our wedding perfect!
