Amazing!!! Take the gondola and start here if you go to the Oakland Zoo.<br>There is also a fun play area for kids up here and a hands on center.

Well worth the gondola ride. Lovely sloping path takes you around to view the animals in their habitats. Shade and benches provided along the way add for your comfort. No extra ticket price for gondola ride or this section of the zoo. Elevator provided. The path leads you from the first floor to the third floor of the building that us apparently built into the hillside. Third floor has the cafe.

Great addition to the zoo from the last time we visited. We recommend you timing your visit with the feeding times as the animals are very active then. Some great photos to be had!

ok so i finally took the kids to this place and honestly it was way better than i expected. my favorite part was walking through the trail and seeing all the animals just doing their thing. the path is pretty long but it's easy to walk and the views of the city are actually really nice when you get to the top. my son lost his hat somewhere along the way and we didnt even care because we were having such a good time. definitely planning to come back next month when the weather is cooler.
