The folks at Campus Garage are very friendly and professional. Their prices are great and they never cheat you. I feel like they're the best overall garage in Ames. That said, you'll want to schedule appointments in advance--they are often very heavily booked.
We bring our Volvos here for service. Book in advance whenever possible because they're a popular shop. Prices are much more affordable than the dealership.
Campus garage has great mechanics and charges a fair price. They are also really good communicating the timeline of their work. They are a trustworthy business!
Eric and his colleagues in Campus Garage do a fantastic job, every time. We have been trusting our cars to them for well over 20 years and have never had a problem. They work fast and well, and are priced reasonably, in particular consider the quality of their work. Highly recommend!
Very knowledgeable about my Porsches ( I have 2) labor rate is about 1/2 of dealers. Communication is excellent keeping customer informed. No waiting area (might be a good thing=). Most important answer to all questions is would I continue to do future business? YES!!!

Cannot recommend Campus Garage enough! They fit me in with a brake issue at the last minute when my regular garage wasn't able to. Knowledgeable, friendly, convenient and affordable. I'll be switching my car care here permanently.
The staff was very friendly and accommodated my request of using a specific oil for my Audi. The car was ready to be picked up in couple of hours. My only suggestion would be to provide some shuttle service if it is going to require dropping the vehicle for more than an hour. Over all, I was very satisfied and will definitely return for next service.
Specializes in European cars. Been in business many years, and their experience and confidence shows. Service is quality, less expensive, and easier to work with than a brand dealer. The diagnostic was free! They ordered the part, and fixed it. Did I mention the diagnostic was free?
