My car broke down and even though they were busy the got me repaired quickly and well done. Excellent service.
Campus Garage diagnosed and repaired a bad ignition coil on my out-of-state ISU studen's /daughter's car, offering price point options for their suggested remedies. Being 6-hours away, I appreciated their honest, up front and flexible service advice. They are trustworthy and I will continue to send her to them for service while she finishes her degree.
Campus Garage is the only place I go. Honest, local, fair, and friendly.
Yep, these guys are good. We brought in our old Kia Optima fearing the worst and were prepared to perform last rights on it. Campus Garage quickly diagnosed the problems and got back to me with what they had found. Problem solved. They finished the job at a price that I could live with. They are competent and friendly...I highly recommend them.
Excellent service
Always hands down the best service available for my Benz, BMW, and Porsche in the entire Midwest.
I needed help with my 2010 BMW X5 to get back to work. They made it happen and their pricing was more than fair. Use this garage, you won’t be disappointed.
I just purchased a car with an aftermarket warranty. Erik worked with the warranty company to ensure that I was compensated for the warranty work even though they tried to deny it. I'd recommend them to everyone in the Ames area.
This was my second visit here, and I’d definitely come back again. They checked my car on a different day first to diagnose the issue and had to order the correct horn before replacing it. Everyone was friendly, explained things clearly, and made sure my car was safe for long-distance driving. Really appreciate the help and honest service!
Very knowledgeable. Good quality services that are reasonably priced.
I had my transmission valve body and front struts replaced on the same day without any issues. It was done within a day with no overnight needed and the price was certainly right. They also found where my backing lights had their wire broken and fixed that in addition to replacing a ball joint and both license plate…
We’re new to Ames, so we relied on a friend to recommend Campus Garage. Great service; fast and friendly. Listened to our problems and were able to diagnose and resolve them quickly. We will be return customers. We’re back again - 3 yrs since we moved back to Ames - and we will continue to use and recommend Campus…
A 100% go to!!! Eric the owner is very patient, fair and kind. I also felt good vibes from all the employees. Didn't push me away and treated us with the upmost respect!!!! Will go back if needed! =) Also a very clean shop!!!!
A long overdue review...I have been taking all 4 of our cars to Campus Garage for nearly 3 years now. They are always transparent, timely, and fairly priced (I cannot emphasize this last piece enough). They always provide an honest opinion of work that actually needs to get done vs. work that has no impact on car…
Campus garage has great mechanics and charges a fair price. They are also really good communicating the timeline of their work. They are a trustworthy business!
Great service and persistence to get the source of the problem!
Excellent, fast service and attention to detail. They have gone above and beyond to diagnose and repair the problems we've had with our vehicle. Very appreciative for everything they've done. It's the small town service and hospitality that keeps us coming back.
I continue to use the Campus Garage for all my vehicles. As I've noted before, I've used them for a number of years. There is no nonsense, they do what they say they are going to do and get the job done right!
Five star! They arraigned to get my daughters broken car. They got in right away and diagnosed it right the first time. Explained to me what was wrong and how much it would cost. Repair quote was reasonable and they fixed it right the first time. Total time from initial call to job completed, 4 hours! Highly recommended!
Always fast and perfect service starts owner and all the stuff thanks everyone see you soon thank you again
Quick turnaround and fair pricing, also helped with potential manufacturers warranty issue.
They always take great care of my vehicles and make sure I'm back on the road quickly! Highly recommend them!!
Great and timely service. Kept me informed with the whole progress. They were able to fix a problem I have had for a year and the BMW dealership couldn’t diagnose at 3 separate appointments. They had an idea but it would have been $1700!! Campus garage fixed my issue in a couple hours and for only $300!! Very happy…
We've been using Campus Garage for decades! Eric is the best. It's nice to have a local mechanic we know and trust.
Great experience with campus garage. Eric was very honest with cost and never asked me to do anything unnecessary. He usually called to tell the customer the estimated cost before doing the work. So you won’t be surprised by an unexpected big bill. Campus garage has become my to go place for any car issues.
They were really very helpful in every aspect of handling the repair. Responsive, supportive and efficient in the whole experience. Great!
Kept me very informed and honest with my cars issues.
Fixed the problem in a day and sent me on my way. Very professional and efficient. My fix was pretty expensive but they fixed it for $500 less than another quote I got. They explained everything and knew exactly what they were doing unlike the other shop I went to.
Fast professional service:)
