We have used Campus Garage on two occasions now with a perfect outcome each time. My daughter is an ISU student with a crazy schedule. We live to hours away from Ames. We really like the after hours lock boxes for key pickup. Everything with Campus Garage has been excellent.
I've taken my car here twice now. They do a free diagnostic on your car to figure out what is wrong, and are reasonably priced. They aren't cheap by any means, but they're not out to rob anyone either. So they will likely have the best deal compared to the competition. Service is very professional and friendly.…
Took our car in for a fender bender. The campus garage team was clear about what they could and couldn't do, and once we agreed on the end state, they completed the project without issue. I very much appreciate their time and attention to the matter.
I had a part that had been replaced by Erik’s team fail prematurely it was not their shortfall or error. They said it was covered by their warranty. It was fixed within one working day without any charge. It doesn’t get any better than this. They stand behind everything they do. Great people great service!!
Always a pleasure to work with Eric and his team his team- they keep my classic Beamer and my late model VW in tip top shape. Reliable and knowledgeable, way better than any dealer -
Very knowledgeable. Good quality services that are reasonably priced.
Honest and dependable service. Some of the best mechanics we have encountered. Update 2025...still bringing our Cayenne to these great people. We drive about 140 miles round trip and it's worth the extra time everytime! Update...Campus to the rescue again! They helped my kid with his RAM and are always experts.…
I like Campus garage because they know what they are doing!! They are prompt and reliable and work at good pace!!! I trust them, because my car is running now a lot better, easier and less noisy!! Thank you 🙏 for fixing it!!!
I had my transmission valve body and front struts replaced on the same day without any issues. It was done within a day with no overnight needed and the price was certainly right. They also found where my backing lights had their wire broken and fixed that in addition to replacing a ball joint and both license plate…
Very efficient and reliable service
Not cheap, but they do great work in a timely manner. Get what ya pay for. Will go back.
They did a great job with my car! Timely manner, great price, and great customer service.
Great communication, I work a lot and they go out of their way for after hour drop offs.Eric communicated very well with me on the issues and repaired them quickly. Thank you.
A long overdue review...I have been taking all 4 of our cars to Campus Garage for nearly 3 years now. They are always transparent, timely, and fairly priced (I cannot emphasize this last piece enough). They always provide an honest opinion of work that actually needs to get done vs. work that has no impact on car…
Great service and persistence to get the source of the problem!
We needed a quick response to a problem with a wheel on our car. Campus Garage got us in right away to assess the problem, and it was a simple fix so they took care of it on the spot. Always friendly and professional when we need anything.
Fast service.great work.super kind and professional.would recommend to others
They take extra time to evaluate the repairs and if anything else needs attention. Great experience. My new auto shop.
Great people working here. Very professional. Always do a great job. Would definitely recommend if you need your car repaired.
The most honest mechanics i have ever experienced. THOUSANDS of dollars saved with all my vehicles. I love them and their customer service. Their communication with me is above the industry standard and they are the ONLY mechanics in Ames I trust. Period!
Just a great experience.
Awesome work! I will be going back for future repairs and maintenance.
I came in with a vague issue with a lot of potential causes. They looked around, lubed the suspension, and gave me a small laundry list of issues that could be addressed. But instead of pushing costly repairs on me, they prioritized the list according to urgency and said they'd be ready to do the work whenever I was…
Very good shop to deal with. I take my three vehicles here and am always happy with the service ice and the quality of work they do. I would never take my trucks anywhere else.
They fixed the power steering on my Nissan that I could hardly even turn when I brought it in! I rolled out of the parking lot so seamlessly after I brought it in. I really appreciated that they looked at it first, gave me an estimated price that they stuck to! I drove home nearly in tears! I was so happy to be anxiety free driving my vehicle!
Campus Garage has been very courteous and delivered quick and excellent service at fair prices. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs vehicle repairs.
They did their best to get me in when my car was not working I really appreciated that and their honesty of when they could get me in
