I had a worsening cyclical thump in one of my tires, so I made an appointment to have it looked at, the same time as an oil change. I soon received a call from Campus Garage, saying my oil change was done. They had diagnosed the problem as a cupped tread on one tire. They had it ordered, balanced and mounted by the…
Outstanding service
Great service. Honest and professional
Always hands down the best service available for my Benz, BMW, and Porsche in the entire Midwest.
We are always happy with the service and recommendations from Campus Garage.
Called for a tire repair and got it fixed same day and for an amazing price!! First time customer and will be back!
There isn’t a more qualified or honest mechanic we are aware of in town and we have used 4 separate services over the years. They provide great service at reasonable prices.
Campus garage was amazing!!! Quick and efficient. Extremely friendly and I cannot say enough good things about them ! My tires were shot and I had no idea. Eric found me the best tires for my car. He ordered them, had them the next morning and my car was done by 9:30 am!!! So impressed ! Will return here often for…
Campus Garage was very helpful and fast going to get my car in and out as quickly as possible!
Campus garage is trustworthy with affordable prices! No wonder they’re booked out so much!
Campus Garage is the best auto repair shop in Ames, especially for Volvos. Eric and staff are super knowledgable, friendly, honest, fairly priced and always provide top quality work.
Took our car in for a fender bender. The campus garage team was clear about what they could and couldn't do, and once we agreed on the end state, they completed the project without issue. I very much appreciate their time and attention to the matter.
Refreshing to be able to trust the people who work on our cars. I know they will do what is needed at a fair price and stand behind it. They allow me to buy the cars I want and not depend on the dealership rip-off we are all accustomed to. Less than half price of the dealership estimate, everything done. I can’t recommend them more.
Very knowledgeable. Good quality services that are reasonably priced.
I like Campus garage because they know what they are doing!! They are prompt and reliable and work at good pace!!! I trust them, because my car is running now a lot better, easier and less noisy!! Thank you 🙏 for fixing it!!!
A long overdue review...I have been taking all 4 of our cars to Campus Garage for nearly 3 years now. They are always transparent, timely, and fairly priced (I cannot emphasize this last piece enough). They always provide an honest opinion of work that actually needs to get done vs. work that has no impact on car…
Eric and his colleagues in Campus Garage do a fantastic job, every time. We have been trusting our cars to them for well over 20 years and have never had a problem. They work fast and well, and are priced reasonably, in particular consider the quality of their work. Highly recommend!
The folks at Campus Garage are the best. I had an O2 sensor issue with my Volkswagen, but Eric went the extra mile to get it fixed. I have also used Campus garage for oil changes, new tires, and new rear springs…they do great work and are always super professional and friendly.
They are always honest, courteous, and most importantly good at what they do!
Great service and friendly people! Eric has worked on cars for a long time! They do a great job!!
Cannot recommend Campus Garage enough! They fit me in with a brake issue at the last minute when my regular garage wasn't able to. Knowledgeable, friendly, convenient and affordable. I'll be switching my car care here permanently.

Great service! They performed an oil change on our older car and also looked it over to see if any other service would be recommended at this time. Thank you!
I always get a good explanation and prompt service. I trust this team to tell me what is wrong, what it will cost and that they can and will fix it. Trust! I think that is the key!
We've been using Campus Garage for decades! Eric is the best. It's nice to have a local mechanic we know and trust.
We have never had a bad experience at Campus Garage. Professional and friendly staff. I would recommend them to any of my family and friends.
Great company to work with. Honest, straight forward, knowledgeable work.
Eric was really helpful in diagnosing a coolant leak in my Mini Cooper and replacing the tires and performing an alignment on the car. Very knowledgeable on imports.
Went to other two shops to fix the water leak in my car, but they all failed. Campus Garage has it fixed. They were extremely polite and professional. Highly recommended!
I've owned many cars, lived in many places and have used many car repair places. The professionals at Campus Garage are among the very best to work on my cars. They give you honest recommendations and do quality work in a timely manner and at fair charges.
Eric and the guys at Campus Garage are outstanding! We have been going there for almost 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Excellent service, professional, honest, and knowledgable.
Erik, Charlie Brown, and the boys are awesome! I find them very friendly and knowledgeable and always find time to answer your questions. I recommend them to everyone having issues with their automobile or in need of a mechanic.
Installed a side mirror for us and fixed a leaking tire. Work completed as stated. Convenient drop off of vehicle. Small campus so they pack the cars in when busy and they make it work. I Never directly dealt with anyone in person but my son who’s vehicle it was picked the car up and had no complaints. We will definitely use them again.
Great service thank you!!!!!! 10 Stars of I could! Mark Petersen
