I was not going to share my experience but seeing as how the owner doesn't seem to want to listen and change the story I will share my side. I brought my computer in to have a full cleaning done. I was told the computer would be a complete disassembly cleaning. The person I spoke with said and I quote "we don't just blow it out. We take it apart, clean and reapply CPU thermal paste." After receiving my computer and paying I took the computer home. Plugged it back up and one of fans from my GPU fell completely out of the housing. I reached back out via Facebook and was told to bring it back in. When I brought the computer back in the guy assisting me repeatedly kept answering calls in the middle of me trying to talk to him and in between calls was telling me they didn't even touch the GPU. I don't understand how someone does a complete breakdown to clean the computer and not touch the GPU. After being brushed off and unable to actually have a conversation with the gentleman because the incoming calls were more important I said thank you took my computer and left as I wasn't trying to cause a scene and could not prove they broke my GPU. I then left a 1-star review because my experience was horrible and the guy who helped didn't seem to care that my computer was broken immediately after leaving his shop. Today 11.04.2026 I get a texted from the owner asking about my review and wanted to reach out personally. He said and I quote "Customer satisfaction is very important to me, and I'd appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns or make things right." So I tell him my experience and instead of trying to address my concerns or make things right he tells me he doesn't negotiate with 1 star views and then proceeds to attack me in his review response and change the story entirely. I told him I can't accuse them for breaking something when I can't prove it but they were the last to touch my PC. I wasn't saying it never got cleaned that wasn't the problem and wasn't why I came back into the shop that same day. Glad they addressed the customer service issue with the guy at the front desk, one of many problems were solved at the very least. I tried to continue our conversation via text and was just ignored and instead of continuing to converse with me just decided to post some twisted story of what we talked about here.
The customer brought his PC to us for cleaning and was indeed told it would be completely disassembled. However, complete disassembly is not always necessary to properly clean every component, including the GPU. His primary complaint seems to be that a GPU fan came off after he took the computer home. However, he apparently concluded that because we didn't notice the fan coming off, we must not have removed or cleaned the GPU. That reasoning simply doesn't follow. Removing a GPU for cleaning does not mean we're going to remove or disassemble its individual fans, nor does it guarantee that an existing problem with a fan will be apparent. What's particularly strange is that he doesn't seem to blame us for the fan actually coming off, but rather uses the incident as evidence that we didn't perform the cleaning. That's quite a leap. Furthermore, our technician's notes clearly document that we did considerably more than simply clean the computer. We discovered a loose CPU cooler, inadequate thermal paste coverage on the CPU, and a daisy-chained GPU power connection. We reapplied the CPU thermal paste, corrected the fan orientation, and recommended installing an exhaust fan. As for the complaint about our employee repeatedly answering the phone while trying to assist him, I understand that frustration. We have actually addressed that issue and made changes to improve the customer experience. I'm sorry the customer was dissatisfied, but I disagree with the conclusion that the cleaning wasn't performed simply because a GPU fan subsequently came off. **UPDATE (11/04/2026):** The customer has since expanded his review, so I'd like to clarify a few things. First, I acknowledge that the customer never explicitly claimed we didn't clean his computer. My original response was based on my interpretation of his initial complaint, particularly his concern that the GPU hadn't been removed during the cleaning. Second, regarding the GPU fan coming off, we simply do not know what caused it. The customer himself acknowledged that he couldn't establish whether our technicians were responsible. I understand his concern given the timing, but that alone doesn't establish fault. Third, I reached out to the customer personally after discovering his original 1-star review, which initially contained no explanation. My intention was to understand what happened and potentially resolve the issue. Unfortunately, our conversation did not lead to a resolution. Finally, I've already acknowledged the issue with our employee repeatedly answering phone calls during the customer's visit. That was a legitimate complaint, and we've since addressed it. Anthony did contact me on Facebook, and I asked him to bring the PC back. He did, but I wasn't informed that the visit went poorly. I never had the chance to personally inspect the GPU. I stand behind the work our technicians documented performing, but I regret that the customer's experience was unsatisfactory. IN CONCLUSION After reviewing everything, I believe there are things both Anthony and I are right and wrong about. I understand his frustration, particularly with how his return visit was handled, and I acknowledge that we could have handled certain aspects of this situation better, including my own communication with him. However, I also believe some of his conclusions about our work are unfair and unsupported by the evidence. Neither of us knows what actually caused the GPU fan to come off, and I don't think it's reasonable to assume fault without knowing the facts.
