Is Capital Moving & Storage any good?

After an extremely messy and unfortunate move with another company, Capital Moving restored my faith in people! William coordinated, and his team (John, David G, and David M) did a fantastic job on our move from NC to NH!

Aaron, Haney, and JR moved my parents (91 and 90 years old) from NC to MI. They were kind, courteous and respectful. They took care with my parents many many items and we’re willing to move things around when a different place in their new apartment was more appropriate. This was a two-phased move with some items…

My move was actually on July 8, 2026, cause I just found the list John gave me. A super hot and humid day! The trucks drove up On Time. John, David, Tino, Salvador, Rodrigo, Carlos, Mike, Aaron; are the TEAM of professional, respectful, careful with 3 floors of boxes and wrapping furniture up. Their energetic…

John, Tino, DavidM, and Salvador were amazing! We highly recommend them.

John, David G., Tino and Salvador were great! They were efficient and quick. We so appreciated how careful they were with our furniture from packing to delivery!

We had a 2 Day move. The guys worked very hard, were very considerate, fast, and enjoyable to be around. They did a great job! I would highly recommend them. I worked with V, James, H, James, C, Stephen, Eric, Josh, and Israel

Had the greatest experience working with Capital Moving & Storage. I would highly recommend them. Tim, was great to work with, he came by and provided an estimate. When the movers arrived, they were nothing but professional. They worked extremely hard and efficient and gave us peace of mind when packing. They were…

Fantastic moving experience from start to finish! V, Simon, Jordan were all incredibly professional, efficient, careful, and incredibly hardworking. They handled all our furniture and belongings with care, worked quickly, and made the entire move much less stressful than we expected. Everyone was friendly,…

We were well taken care of by the packing and moving team of John, Gage, Jordan, and David G. They packed the house onto two trucks, put our stuff into conditioned storage for a month then delivered it all to our new address (so technically two moves). Tim did a good job estimating the total cost. They were on time…

I can't say enough good things about David Mathes, John, Salv, and Tino. This was the smoothest moving process I've ever experienced. I had the honor of having this crew packout and move me back in when I had to deal with water damage at my home. They are incredibly kind and efficient. I found myself referring to…

I had a great experience with Capital Moving. Tim helped organize the move, and was willing to come out to my place on a weekend (on a holiday nonetheless) to take an inventory and provide the estimate. The crew they sent was amazing (Aaron, Mike, and Savli). They were very professional, efficient, and handled my…

John, David, Salvador, and Carlos were amazing! They arrived on time, were careful, efficient, and I felt confident in their abilities as movers. John did a great job as the lead. We were extremely impressed with this crew of hardworking individuals. John the supervisor communicated well and he and his crew (Tino, Salvador, Josh, and Aaron) were friendly, professional, and loaded the truck in a safe, careful, yet quick fashion. Our property is now being stored and we look forward to another…

I was very happy with Capital Moving & Storage. They were very competitive with their pricing and very generous with adding extras for free. Their crew did a great job and managed to fix if anything was broken. Big shout out to Mike L., Rodrigo, Jordan, Tino and Simon!

"Had a great experience with Jordan, James C, Frank, and James H. They were awesome to work with, worked hard, and got the job done with zero damages. Real professionals. Thanks again!"

What an amazing job these movers did for us. They came early in the morning and wrapped everything so carefully. Not one thing was damaged. When they unloaded at our new house, they were so patient and kind. I would give 10 stars if it was possible. Someone recommended them to us and we will certainly recommend them…

Amazing crew - John and Jordan were unbelievable! First class service all the way - so considerate. They treated us like family. Mike the owner went above and beyond to help us out with a part minute issue where he personally stepped in to help. Tino and Salu helped us pack and were great. You will be lucky to get…

I highly recommend Capital Moving to everyone. I can't believe how nice and hardworking everyone was along the way. I would highly recommend booking your next move with Capital Moving & Storage. James C., James H., Josh, and Tynez did an amazing job from start to finish. These guys are awesome! I would highly recommend them if you are moving.

Having moved several times, we stumbled upon Capital Moving & Storage based on a Google search and volume of five star reviews. Now having completed the move, including packing up a 3600 sq ft house, transport, two days of storage, and unloading/placement… we were not disappointed! Tim’s appraisal was spot on and…

Absolutely FANTASTIC team from start to finish. Professional, polite, friendly and efficient. Couldn't have asked for better service. Mike L., Josh, Jr, Simon, Rodrigo, and Tynez.

Fantastic movers! Very careful and thoughtful. Crew: Mikel Rodrigo Josh Joe Simon Israel

John, Mike, Simon, Tino, Salvador are total pros!! They arrived early, finished fast, were creative, careful and left the place clean without a mark. Tim at the home office was awesome as well!!! From start to finish, Capital Moving exceeded our expectations. The crew—John, David, Gino, Salvador, and Jordan—was absolutely phenomenal. John and David were especially impressive: extremely detailed, organized, friendly, and genuinely careful with every item. You could tell they took real pride in their work.…

We used Capital Movers for two moves in 2025. The first move was from our large home to a storage facility. The team arrived on time, carefully wrapped and transported all of our items. In the storage facility they worked some magic to efficiently fit all of our things into the unit. When we found our new condo it…

Mike L, Jordan, Salvatore and Tino were phenomenal! They were very careful with all of my items, but also worked FAST! All moving companies charge by the hour and quite a few of them will drag their feet with moving to try and drive up the cost, but NOT THESE GUYS! This was my 2nd time moving with Capital Moving and…

Nas and Jeremy were fantastic. After living her house for the last 20 yrs, they moved my Mom. They were both so gentle with her and showed her respect. All of belongings were moved with efficiency and care! Highly recommend.

Everything has gone well so far. William has been very patient and courteous with me through the estimating and arrival of the crew. James C and James H were very punctual arriving and efficient with all the requirements and loading of all our goods from two locations. I would recommend them to anyone.

I moved from Raleigh to Baltimore and Capital Moving in storage was very easy to work with and their crew packed everything very nicely. They were all very nice people and it was as seamless as moving can be. Thanks to James C, James H, Melbourne, Tynez, Tino and Salvador. Well done.

Mike L, Simon, Nas, Melvin, and Rodrigo crushed it. Quickly and carefully. Very pleased and highly recommend

Truly amazing service! The team was professional, efficient, and so kind throughout the entire move. The guys handled all of our furniture with care and made the whole process stress-free. Charlie, the owner, is fantastic to work with, and his daughter is just as awesome. You can tell this company genuinely values…
