Highly skilled and professional. And, it's true, they can service any make of car. They earned our business. ( CLK430 )
Easily the best auto repair shop in Ames. Let me explain. I've tried about 5 other auto shops in town over the past 5 years, I started with Car-X initially and then tried others because they had more appealing "deals". Everywhere else I tried had inadequate work and explanations for that work and the fixes they…
By far one of the best experiences I’ve had going to any auto shop. They were quick to get back to me on my appointment request and worked with me to find a time that I could get in. I didn’t get his name but the guy working the front desk was very nice and friendly. He explained everything on my courtesy inspection…
They were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
It was nice to get great service for a change. I was expecting to spend $600 and I left with the required work being done for less than $50. Thanks, you people are incredible!
We've taken our vehicles there a couple times now and their service each time has been consistently good. On our fourth time in last month, we mentioned our Honda was pulling to the right. Their technician checked the alignment and several other things and couldn't figure it out. They returned the vehicle to us…
I've used these guys in the past and they have yet to disappoint me. They always have a good attitude and are willing to work with me even when I have no idea about anything car related. I recommend them highly
Owning a '97 4Runner, it stands to reason that I would need to have a mechanic I trust. Over the years, through normal wear and tear, I've needed everything from tire service and oil changes, to muffler, clutch, suspension and electrical work (and more I'm forgetting). The team at the Ames CarX has handled it all…
I have been going to the Ames Car-X for a little over a year now. They have added upgraded suspension components and tires to two of my vehicles (sedan and truck), and the service has been excellent at every visit. Great staff, and they do a quality job at a fair price.
I've used them twice. Their prices are great and they respect your time. They have a clean, comfortable space available for you to wait on your car (if you choose to wait).
