Carlson Creek Vineyard, Scottsdale Tasting Room at a glance

Reviewers frequently praise the knowledgeable and friendly staff who provide detailed guidance on wine selections and vintages. Many guests appreciate the comfortable atmosphere and consider the pricing reasonable for the quality of the experience. However, lower-rated feedback highlights inconsistencies in opening hours, with customers finding the location closed despite posted times, and some describe the wine quality as poor or the service as slow.

The server Zack was really rude throughout. No water provided. They also don’t support the wine passport. The wine was mediocre/poor. Would not recommend stopping here on your wine trail.

This was my first visit to do a wine tasting and an opportunity to spend time with my son on Mother's Day! I did some reviews and saw that there were many wine tasting places in Old Town Scottsdale and I did look at the photos to choose a place that seem to fit. First off, we had no problem parking there, almost right in front, but probably because they are located on a street that has some renovations happening nearby (some buildings were currently unoccupied) and also it was a Sunday so a few were not open that day. So it was very easy to find. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and said to make ourselves comfortable. Our wine steward was extremely friendly (we didn't get his name but he had dark curly hair!) and explained the different wines they had. I love white and my son loves red so we had many to sample! We ordered a charcuterie board which was so delicious, and we sat in more of a private area with couches for even more comfort. There was a private dining area behind us which was vacant until a huge group of ladies came in and started singing. Luckily we were at the tail end of our tasting so we didn't mind the revelry. We were there about 90 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed our time there! We bought two bottles of wine to take home with us. Was a great afternoon!

Exploring Scottsdale with an out of town friend, and decided to do some wine tasting at 2 pm. Great staff, friendly and conversational. Enjoyed the wines and experience. Would come back if I didn’t live so far! There will be another time.
