Carolina Moving and Storage

Jonathan, the owner, came to our house, took a visual inventory of the items that needed to be moved, asked us questions, and reviewed options for our move. He gave us a written estimate and work with us on a move date. The guys that came to move us were experienced, polite and friendly. They worked diligently to pack, load and unload our belongings. We moved some items to an apartment and some to the company's storage. These guys know what they are doing and get it DONE!

I called Carolina Moving and Storage to get a quote for moving from Village District in Raleigh to Downtown Cary, a drive of only about 17–18 minutes according to GPS. I was shocked when the representative quoted me $850! I live a very minimalist lifestyle, and I have very few belongings. All I needed moved was my mattress, box spring, two small nightstands, two lamps, and one dresser. I do not even have a bed frame! I have no sofas, chairs, tables, televisions, or other furniture. I was moving to a first-floor apartment, so this was a very small move. When I heard the price, I could hardly believe it. I have never hired this company before, and I was considering doing business with them, but after receiving such an unreasonable quote, I will never call them again. There are plenty of moving companies out there that offer fair, reasonable prices and excellent service. No one should feel that they are being taken advantage of simply because they need help moving their belongings, especially someone living alone who has only a few items to move. I strongly encourage everyone to shop around and compare quotes before choosing this company. You may find other movers who offer much fairer prices and outstanding service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Carolina Moving and Storage.

Best moving company I’ve worked with. Odon, Brandon, and Tino were excellent. They were so careful with everything, wrapping all furniture pieces in blankets and securing everything in the truck. Very efficient. Everything felt safe in their hands!

Stress free. Professional. Prompt. Very reasonably priced compared to other local companies. The only thing that gave me more angst than the current interest rates, was thinking about the monumental task of packing up a house full of kids and pets for moving day. The team made the entire process smooth and efficient - from the estimate and planning around some shifting dates with River, to packing up and delivering the following day with Maurice, Antwon, Odin, and Brandon. I’d highly recommend Carolina Moving.

The crew they sent to my house was excellent. They made this the easiest move I’ve ever had. Pleasant people doing hard work, what more could you ask for. They handled our furniture with care, wrapped everything for protection, and completed the move pretty fast. They were great to work with.

The moving team was beyond amazing! They scheduled us and came to the house for an estimate very quickly after another company wasn’t able to accommodate our date change. Vinny and the crew that completed the move were very quick, efficient, careful and so much fun to spend two days with! We have a lot of heavy items as well as many antiques and they took such great care of everything. I was quite worried and stressed about the move and they actually made it enjoyable! I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire process and highly recommend them to anyone!
