I hesitated for a long time before writing a negative review, but then I realized that I’m not doing this just to vent my frustration or to get a response from the shop. I’m writing this for people who are considering bringing their cars here for repairs. I had a minor accident that left some scratches above the rear wheel arch and on the rear door, caused by a truck’s tire. When I brought my car in, they assured me that everything would be repaired so well that the damage would be completely unnoticeable. They also told me the repairs would take about a week. Two weeks later, I was informed that my car was ready. When I picked it up on Friday evening, I immediately noticed scratches on the roof, directly above the door they had been working on. I can only assume they had been placing tools on the roof without putting anything underneath to protect the paint. I’ll attach photos of everything. The molding at the bottom of the door was terribly attached. It was coming loose both in the middle and at the end, and I could easily push it back into place with just one finger. The seam between the front and rear doors was also extremely noticeable because the rear door had some strange black specks near the edge. I couldn’t tell whether it was a bad paint job or terrible polishing. I pointed out all these issues immediately, before even driving away from the shop. They told me to come back on Monday. When I returned on Monday, I specifically asked to speak with the manager and requested that they fix these problems without letting the same people who had originally worked on my car touch it again. And what did I get back? The deep, distinctive scratches on the roof were still there, completely unchanged. The entire left side of the car had been polished so badly that the reflections in direct sunlight were almost blinding. I have genuinely never seen such a horrible polishing job in my life. On top of that, a strange cloudy, hazy area appeared on the front driver’s door, which hadn’t even been damaged in the accident. And the original scratch on the rear door, which they had supposedly repaired and repainted, was still clearly visible. I contacted my insurance company and asked to have the car sent to a different repair shop. Yesterday, an independent appraiser came to inspect my vehicle, and he actually found even more problems than I had noticed myself. Apparently, they didn’t even bother removing the rubber weatherstripping before painting. There is paint overspray directly on the rubber seals, and when you pull the rubber back, you can see that the area underneath wasn’t painted at all. The quality of this repair is absolutely unacceptable. Not only did they fail to properly repair the original damage, essentially just covering it up in a way that is still clearly visible, but they also managed to damage my roof and my front driver’s door, neither of which had any damage before I brought the car in. And they polished the entire side of the vehicle as if they had used nails instead of polishing equipment. My message to this repair shop is simple: Stop using your customers’ vehicles as practice projects for inexperienced technicians. And if this is actually the quality of work your experienced technicians produce, then I honestly have no words. I don’t expect any response from the shop. I’ve already noticed that whenever someone leaves a negative review, they respond by claiming it’s all lies, that they don’t know the person, or that the customer’s car was already in bad condition before they brought it in. State Farm sent me an estimate. They calculated that fixing the botched repair would cost more than the original repair itself! Now ask yourself: is this really a place you want to bring your car?
