Very good team, great acting classes, they know the business and do a great job explaining everything. My daughter absolutely loved the instructors, she got a lot out of the classes that they offer, she's very excited about working with Caryn. They have a good system for getting people started with modeling and/ or acting, and they do a good job working to get their people signed with additional agencies. They are a mother agency and they take that seriously. You're in good hands here.

⭐ 1 Star Extremely Misleading & Predatory Practices – Please Read Before Attending I’m writing this review after accompanying my friend, a 20-year-old college student and aspiring model, to what Caryn Model & Talent Management advertised as a “scouting event.” What we experienced was not legitimate scouting at all it was a carefully structured sales funnel designed to pressure young hopefuls into paying $750 for classes, with zero indication of actual representation. The process was misleading from the start. He received multiple emails saying he was “selected,” creating confusion. At the event, staff hyped him up, pointed to photos of supposed success stories, and played random YouTube runway videos to create the illusion of high-end industry involvement. They took “digitals” on a cellphone with terrible lighting, which is not professional or industry standard. After a short 10-minute interview, they handed him a paper and told him to call them back during a specific time window another tactic to funnel people into a sales pitch. Only after leaving did we discover the real purpose: a $750 class package with no representation, no contract, and no guarantee of anything. When we called to clarify, they confirmed the fee was required before any next steps. Questioning this predatory practice resulted in a dismissive, defensive response. After researching online, we found many others reporting the same pattern: required classes, fees, pressure tactics, and no real signed models or bookings. Their social media hasn’t shown any true agency activity or new talent in years, and they are not BBB accredited. It was heartbreaking to watch my friend go from so excited to crushed after realizing he was misled. This agency appears to prey on young, vulnerable people who dream of entering the industry. Please be cautious. There was nothing legitimate about this “scouting event,” and based on what we witnessed, the primary goal is to sell classes not scout talent.
