Eric Drysdale - Tradewind Builders As a real estate developer I see so much repetitive design on new builds and as I approached my last project, a $6+ million two family in Brookline I really wanted to have a design that stood out from the run of the mill development projects. After interviewing a few firms I was most impressed with Cecilia, of Casagrande Studio’s ideas for my project and decided to hire her. I found Cecilia extremely easy to work with, great communication, timely responses and unique design choices that really set this house apart from other developments. Each unit had 4 baths, a kitchen, pantry and wet bar that were all stunning with no repeating tile, stone or cabinet colors as well beautiful paint colors inside and out, a truly unique design! I was thrilled with the finished product and I would highly recommend Cecilia and her team to any builders looking for the wow factor on their projects!

We’re thrilled to offer this enthusiastic endorsement of Cecilia Casagrande. When we set out to do a major renovation of our new home, spanning multiple rooms and levels, including paint, furniture, fabrics, curtains, and a full kitchen redesign. A close friend recommended Cecilia, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From the start, Cecilia was a joy to work with. She took the time to understand our tastes and goals, and brought a wealth of ideas that expanded our vision in ways we hadn’t imagined. She was collaborative and creative, building inspiration boards and fabric walls to help us visualize how everything could come together. She was hands-on, regularly visiting the space and joining us in selecting materials and pieces. And she was impressively responsive, coordinating contractors and resolving questions almost instantly when they came up. Cecilia brings a distinctive eye for design, but always with a deep respect for making the space feel personal and true to our style. Looking back, the moments when she nudged us toward bolder choices were exactly what made the final result so joyful and distinctive. Cecilia and her team were simply a pleasure to spend time with. We always felt confident that the outcome would be extraordinary. Her website and Instagram speak for themselves. Now that we’ve lived in the space for several months, we’re still struck by how beautiful and cohesive it feels. Every room brings joy. If you have the chance to work with Cecilia, take it, you’ll be glad you did!

Cecilia is a JOY to work with. I had admired her work for years and finally when I was ready to renovate my kitchen I reached out. We are both part of the NO WHITE KITCHEN club (but if you aren't that's ok--she can help you expand within your comfort zone!) so I knew this was going to be colorful. I love design myself and so I had style ideas that I wanted to use but I didn't know how to how to make them all work together. Cecilia makes the sourcing and design process so fun. She brings you along to experience all the exciting components of the kitchen (tile, countertop, cabinets, lighting, hardware, fabrics etc) so you can personally explore all the options up close and then she organizes the chaos into a coherent plan that works for you. When I would be paralyzed by decision making she would never pressure me to decide but instead would say "Does it bring you joy? It's your kitchen..we have to do what makes you happy!" She LOVES color, pattern and texture which makes her work so unique and special. Cecilia is extremely patient and knowledgable. She would listen to my (untrained) ideas and guide me towards them or suggest alternatives. For example, I had seen an exhaust hood with custom scalloped brass trim somewhere in the Instagram design world. Since my hood was wood and already purchased she found a metalsmith who was able to custom design my vision that was then affixed to the hood. She always goes the extra mile when you have an idea and doesn't stop until you have a solution that fits your budget. Another example is with lighting. I had my heart set on a specific fixture for the breakfast nook that I had seen in magazines. Although it wasn't her first choice she went with it. Once it was installed I decided it wasn't the correct light for the space and changed to a stunning selection of hers (I moved the original piece to another room.) Of course, she didn't say I told you so but just a little "See, I told you to TRUST me!" Although I had some of my own design ideas there was absolutely no way I could project manage the renovation myself. Cecilia does it all for you and her contractor John and local tradespeople are the BEST at what they do. Always reliable and trustworthy, I enjoyed getting to know them as well. One of Cecilia's kitchens was recently selected as the COVER star of House Beautiful with an eight page spread. Yes, she is a BIG deal but you don't have to be intimidated! :). I would remark that my little condo kitchen was just a tiny project for her but she would never make me feel any less important than a bigger client. Regardless of if you have one room to renovate or an entire house Cecilia will put her whole heart into the project and turn "bleh" into GORGEOUS!

Cecilia is an amazingly creative designer who turned our blank white spaces into one-of-a-kind rooms. We love her bold and sophisticated use of colors and fabrics mixed with sleek custom design elements. We feel like we've been transported from our 1936 builder-renovated house into an eclectic NYC loft.

Cecilia and her team are unmatched. I’m a busy mom and professional and don’t have the time or brain capacity to make many decisions outside my kids lives and work. Not only does Cecilia and her team unburden me, but they do a 1000x better job than I could ever do even of I had the brain capacity. They re-did my master, living room, and dining room and I am in LOVE with all the color, texture, finishes and how the styles reflect our family. My master bath is next and I can’t wait to see what she dreams up!!!!

Cecilia Casagrande is a master of color. She has a knack for layering colors and textures to create stunning combinations that we never could have imagined putting together on our own. It might be a geometric pattern paired with a floral pattern, or colors that don’t match exactly, but the net result is inspiring. It’s fun to go through the gorgeous fabrics she has access to in order to find things that feel good, look good, and just plain work! Cecilia made it possible for us to narrow down the seemingly infinite universe of choices for decorating our home.

Cecilia transformed our bland, personality-free condo into a vibrant home in which each room has a distinctive personality. She has a superb eye for color, fabric and textures, suggesting combinations that we would never have considered on our own. All the vendors she works with are masters in their field, from wallpaper to electrical to hanging art.
