I called twice with no answer, I left a voicemail saying I'd like to have my 5 month, golden retriever puppy in for a grooming. A lady called back a few hrs later, said they stopped taking large breed dogs yrs ago. I said "oh, even though she's a 5 month old puppy?" She said "yes", I said "She's only expected to get to 35-40lbs", she said "no large breed dogs." The website currently says "Pets of all breeds, temperaments and under 40 lbs are welcome." Either she lied or the website has been incorrect for yrs. Her tone wasn't very personable or warm on the phone either so maybe my pup dodged a bullet.
My dog can be difficult and anxious. Very pleased that Casual Canine was able to trim his nails today. Very fast service and not overpriced. Will definitely be back!
My sweet girl has been groomed here a couple times now. Michelle is really patient and kind with my girl's nerves and the cut is so cute. I've paid far more at other places, and my girl looked silly when I’d pick her up. Now she looks cute and the cut is nice and even and grows out well. I’d recommend!
Told me they don’t do dogs over 40 pounds.
It’s probably so but when I walked in they looked at me than looked down
As if they didn’t even want to know what I needed.
Than they looked down at me and said can I help you.
Definitely felt uncomfortable but not surprised for the area
Casual Canine is amazing! First time taking our dog there and it could not have gone better. They worked with our dog that is a little difficult and were able to get all his grooming done. Highly recommend.
