The food is great and love the homemade goods. So much better than the Daily Grind. But hours are so limited. Closed Sunday & Monday, barely open Saturday, and their kitchen closes 1-2 hours before closing hours so you can only get a drink or baked goods.
This was my first visit. I had the Thursday Special (Grits) and my wife had the chicken salad. We both enjoyed our meals. We also picked up some peach bread on our way out. This restaurant sells all sorts of yummy items. We would definitely return!
The pimento cheese was soo good that I didn't even save some for later!!
We were headed to Laurel and needed a place for lunch. What a score with this great place! The food was wonderful ( all 3 of us agreed), the portions generous and the service was as kind and precious as could be. We loved it so much, we planned our return trip so we could stop again. I highly recommend it and whatever special they are offering. Be sure to take home some pastries for later!

a must try is there cinnamon roll dressed up like a king cake very good I really enjoyed it I feel bad because I went there for a Loblolly king cake from Robert St John a friend of mine from the restaurant business back in the 90s but I now will be going back for there sweet treats you guys have a customer from now on good job

This was my first time trying them ( I always was told their food was delicious) and they didn't disappoint because my food was hot, fresh and delicious!( they know how to make some good shrimp & grits) THANKS I'll be ordering again!!!
Very solid local cafe for sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and baked items. Plenty of seating. If you’re the type of person who is looking for a coffee shop, you’ll feel pretty good finding this in Meridian.
My man and I went there Friday and was trying to decide which soup we should try so they only have one broccoli and cheese soup left and we figured that was good since it was only one left and we got it today. We’re eating it and it’s so delicious. I honestly thought that I was gonna have to add salt to it but once I tasted it, it was so freaking good and we’re gonna come back and try others. This is his second time going my first and we will most definitely be back. I had to come leave a review because it is so good and I can’t wait to try their quiche
