His team was quick to respond to our questions and genuinely cared about getting every detail right for us. At our tasting, they went above and beyond—seriously, come hungry because you will leave full! The gluten-free food they prepared was delicious and impressed all our guests, who haven't stopped talking about it since the wedding. John clearly knows his stuff when it comes to dietary restrictions and made sure we felt confident about our menu. We highly recommend Catering By John Lowe to any couple looking for a caterer who truly listens and delivers. One of the biggest compliments we can give is that weeks after our wedding, people were still talking about the food! We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was, which made us so happy. Catering by John Lowe made the most delicious food for our wedding day! We were sold from the first tasting. All of our food was flavorful and dinner was hot for all of our guests. Our guests continue to tell us how much the loved the food, even weeks later. The after party food was a perfect addition for us to take to our hotel. Get the Strawberry Lemonades, they are worth it and were the star of our wedding!

From start to finish, John Lowe Catering exceeded every expectation we had. From our very first tasting, Chef John and his team completely blew us away. Every single dish was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We left our tasting counting down the days until our wedding because we couldn't wait for our family and friends to experience the food too. There were so many standout dishes, but I have to give a special shout-out to two of my favorites. We added the strawberry lemonade with mango ice as our signature happy hour drink, and it was an absolute hit. It was refreshing, unique, and the perfect treat on a hot summer day. And then there were the mashed potatoes...which, as a mashed potato enthusiast, is saying a lot! They were hands down some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had and were absolutely to die for. On our wedding day, the entire staff was incredible. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. One of the waiters even put together a plate with every cocktail hour appetizer so my husband and I wouldn't miss out while we were taking photos and talking with our guests. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much to us. Throughout the night, someone was always checking in to make sure I had food, a drink, or anything else I needed. As a bride, it's so easy to forget to eat because you're busy talking to everyone and soaking in every moment, so their kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed. One of my favorite memories came after the wedding. They carefully boxed up all of our leftovers, and the next day my husband and I picked them up before heading back to our hotel. We spent the day relaxing, reliving our favorite moments from the wedding, and eating the most amazing leftovers. Honestly, it was the perfect way to end the best weekend of our lives. To this day, our guests still rave about the food. Whenever someone brings up our wedding, one of the first things they mention is how incredible everything tasted. Amazing food, outstanding service, and a staff that truly goes above and beyond—John Lowe Catering delivered all of that and more. We are so grateful they were part of our wedding day and helped make it unforgettable. 🤍

If I could give CBJL higher than 5 stars I would!! I have celiac and it was very important for me to find a caterer for my bridal shower at Westwynd Gardens that I knew could accommodate having dietary restrictions. Chef John came up with the tastiest menu, everyone was texting me and raving about the food after. I had multiple people ask me about them and wanting their info incase they had an event they needed catering for. I loved how well they communicated everything and went over any questions my mom and I had, in great detail. They worked with my mom for the decor elements to make sure it all matched what she envisioned for my shower. Their staff it all amazing. Anne, colleen, TJ, the list goes on they are all amazing and so very helpful! We had the pleasure of working with Catering by John Lowe Over the past several months as we planned our wedding and chose to use them as our caterers. We were impressed by the quality and presentation of their food from the tasting, and left the tasting full to the brim (and with lots of left overs)as well as feeling like family. Our guests at our wedding raved about our buffet course options and the service of the staff throughout the night. No detail was left behind throughout the planning process. They truly are on it and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering using them for any event or wedding. Thanks so much to the entire team!!

We are still getting compliments about the food from our wedding, and it's all thanks to Weddings By Sweet Annie/Catering By John Lowe! From the savory charcuterie during cocktail hour to the wandering french fries during the reception, every single dish was a masterpiece. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive to every guest's needs, including dietary restrictions and allergies, which they handled with care and efficiency. They even made sure my husband and I were hydrated and well fed throughout the entire evening. They made the entire dining experience feel effortless and luxurious. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for a truly outstanding culinary experience!

The first thing Mr John said to us when we met for our tasting was “ are yall hungry? Because I’m going to feed yall so get ready” fed we were. We had the pleasure of having Catering by John Lowe for our wedding, and overall, the experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious! I was initially a bit nervous about whether it would satisfy our Caribbean and Latin guests, but everyone raved about how flavorful and well-seasoned everything was. The family-style dinner setup at our reception worked beautifully, and the bartenders and kitchen team were amazing throughout the night. The only hiccup we encountered was with the service at a couple of tables, especially Table 11. Some guests felt that the servers were rushing to clear plates—even while they were still eating. One guest came back from the restroom to find her plate had already been taken, and others mentioned they felt the need to “guard” their meals. A few even asked if the reception was ending early because of how quickly things were being cleared. That said, the food and bar service were incredible and left a lasting impression on all of our guests. With just a bit more attentiveness to pacing the clearing of tables, it would have been a flawless experience. We truly appreciate the team’s hard work and talent! Carla &Gil

My husband and I chose John Lowe as the caterer for our wedding that took place on May 4, 2025. We could not have asked for anything more from them! Through out the process of tasting, building the menu, payment, and finalizing details, they were so easy to work with. Their communication and attentiveness made us feel so relaxed and prepared. I never had an issue getting in contact with someone, or getting answers to my questions. The food... THE FOOD! It was soooo good! Our guests kept going to the buffet for more. The espresso-rubbed pork was to die for, and the beef was cooked perfectly. I could have eaten 100 of the spinach artichoke bites as well. The staff serving, setting up, and bartending were all so sweet, and did everything possible to help make our day perfect. I highly recommend John Lowe for anyone's event or wedding. I know my husband and I would hire them again in a heartbeat should we ever be looking for a caterer for something.
