From our very first consultation, Dr. Lynne Halem and her team provided a calm, structured, and compassionate environment that completely diffused the tension between us. Instead of turning our situation into an adversarial courtroom battle, CMDR guided us to look at our issues practically and collaborate on workable solutions. Dr. Halem’s extensive expertise and decades of experience were evident in every session. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and neutral—ensuring that both of our voices were heard and that we remained in complete control of the decisions shaping our family's future. They helped us navigate very complex and emotionally charged discussions (including asset division and a parenting plan for our daughter Alexandra) with absolute professionalism and fairness. As a family law practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience, I have not worked with a more effective, knowledgeable, and collaborative mediator than Lynne Halem. Working with Lynne and CMDR's excellent professional staff is the best way I have found to bring parties together toward a meaningful resolution that can divert them from expensive, adversarial litigation. Because of Lynne's years of experience and well-informed understanding of current Massachusetts law, moving toward full agreement seems effortless even in high-conflict cases. I always know that CMDR will treat even the most difficult cases with fairness and sensitivity when I walk through the door at CMDR.

Working with Dr. Halem made an extremely challenging divorce much more manageable. Honestly, I am not sure where our process would be without her help. Dr. Halem was key in keeping us moving forward when things felt stalled. I specifically appreciated how she managed the room when emotions ran high and stepped in with 1-1 sessions at the right moments to break deadlocks. Beyond her empathy, Dr. Halem is excellent at the "project management" aspect of the process; she proactively reached out for meetings and followed up constantly to ensure documents were produced and nothing fell through the cracks. She is incredibly thorough — always clarifying points of confusion to ensure every write-up was accurate. My own attorney remarked on what a fantastic job she has been doing. Lynne Halem is an amazing mediator. Her knowledge of divorce law and finance were valuable during our negotiation. She is professional, but also sensitive and objective. Her respect for both parties made the process proceed smoothly without rancor. Lynne’s years of experience not only helped to find an equitable solution to the division of assets, but also a solution to a non divorce related family matter which worked out perfectly. Lynne’s documentation of each meeting was detailed and always correct. She created a separation agreement that outlined every point exactly, in a very understandable way. When I brought this to my attorney, she was greatly impressed with how this was constructed and used it as the basis for final negotiations. I would highly recommend Lynne Halem as a mediator. She is efficient and will help find the best, cost effective conclusion to a divorce settlement.

Literally the most prejudiced, judgmental, rude, unprofessional, easily insulted and biased organization I have ever spoken to. They went for months without getting back to me or my mom and I had to be the one to try and establish communication again.
