Fantastic service! Sly, Pitt, Justin, Manuel, and Reynaldo all took the utmost care of my families belongings during our move and were very quick! Would love to work with you all again in the future. Thanks!
Chesapeake provided us with enormous help with an overwhelming move from 27 years in a three-story rowhouse to our new condo with half the square footage. They did a complete walkthrough at the start to get the lay of the land, then set about their business like a well-oiled machine. They were careful and super…
Great!
Our experience with CMC was phenomenal. The crew was a standout crew, we moved 2 apartments to 1 in 4 hours, crazy. They helped us arrange and reassemble furniture when we got into the new house and were great to work with. Josh was great and communicative and established a great moving plan for us. Thanks to…
I highly recommend Chesapeake Moving! I had a moving company flake a week or so before a move, contacted several movers in the area and landed with them. Josh was professional from beginning to end, explained the process that would happen the day of the move and provided transparent, predictable pricing. The crew…
The team of Darren, Sly, Jonathan, Roberto, and Manuel knocked out the move very quickly. They expertly broke down the equipment needed and put it back together in no time. Extremely polite and mindful of the house and the furniture. Easily would hire them again.

On the day of, they called beforehand, were on time and were professional, nice guys. They discussed our items, strategized with us and in general made everything happen. They were…
Update June 2026 - This was my second time using Chesapeake Moving Company, and once again they exceeded my expectations. The first time, they handled a two-day local move of our entire household, and the experience was so positive that they were my first call when I needed help with a specialty move. This time,…
By far the best moving experience I’ve ever had!! This was a large home/beast of a move. They brought great energy and personality, knew when I was getting overwhelmed with the owners not moving belongings out and just made it happen. The men were attentive to where they removed and packed items from the previous…
AMAZING service, GREAT team! Cannot say enough good things or give a more wholehearted recommendation. Prices comparable to other quotes. Service above and beyond! Guys were so friendly and helpful. From my first calls to Josh and Sam to wrapping up…just a great experience! Will absolutely call Chesapeake for our next move!!
The guys were incredibly nice & moved everything with ease. Told me multiple times to stop helping because it’s literally what I’m paying for (but I insisted at times and he found it humorous). I needed last minute help for a move due to a back injury & i am so happy I went with a local company! Great value & good people!
We moved from Patterrson Park to Fells Point today and Josh, Antoine, Jace, Jarrod and Jose couldn't have been more professional and courteous. They even somehow managed to make a long day fun! Josh is a delight to work with and it's clear Chesapeake Moving Co. cares about their customers and treats your home and…
From the initial phone call to the move itself, everyone at Chesapeake Moving provided A+ service. The owner Josh remained in contact throughout the process and even called me the day of to provide an exact ETA for the movers. The movers themselves were exceptional and lovely to work with - they worked so hard and…
Thank you so much for the move!! We had to leave our old place earlier than expected and chesapeake moving was able to make our experience so seamless and stress free. We really appreciate the hard work and care they put in our move. We moved from a Baltimore row house and they made it look easy. Also, they were…
I had a stellar experience with Pitt and Jared handling my move! They were friendly, professional, and kept me informed throughout the moving process. The move happened on one of the hottest days we have had this spring. Despite this, they remained upbeat and proceeded with the work. When they arrived to my new home…

Chesapeake Moving Company did an exceptional job with our move. We moved to a new unit within the same apartment complex, and our movers ensured that all of our furniture was fully wrapped, protected, and transported safely.
