Quality has gone downhill recently… way downhill. Besides the brisket being dry and portions being small, not to weight and overpriced the service I endured today was awful. Extremely rude girl at the register then they forgot an item in my $90 to go order. Won’t be back. Save your time and money, you’ll be underwhelmed.

Got my order and had the truffle fries, which had no truffle or even salt. Ribs are the driest and chewiest I’ve ever had. Barely any sauce, had to get my own bbq to put on it. Don’t recommend this spot at all.

This is my #1, longtime FAVORITE BBQ place! So glad it’s close to home! I ordered a ton of food for take-out: 1 lb of brisket (they were awesome enough to make mine fatty cut, which made the meat even more soft and tender; I didn’t even need a knife to cut it); 2 orders of their lively, flavorful sausage links; 2 orders of amazingly hearty & also flavorful bbq pit beans; 2 orders of Mexican street corn. (LOVED their sides!) I arrived an hour before they closed— by that time, they were already out of both kinds of ribs (spare ribs and sticky back/glazed ribs!), mac n cheese, and pastrami—Now I know what I’m coming back for in addition to what I have already ordered!! Their portions here are YUGE! I also loved that they were blasting Metallica overhead! This place is like the BBQ version of Kuma’s in terms of ambience—except they’re only open on Saturday & Sunday from 11 am-2 pm! I got my order in about 10 minutes; the folks here are professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and efficient! I’m going to make sure I get here as soon as they open next time!!
Everything about this place is enjoyable. The food, atmosphere and service was all top notch. The kitchen does a masterful job creating an enticing experience with texture and flavor that is delightful. There are no corners being cut here, just leaves you with an experience that will leave you craving more of it!
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Best bbq in the state of Illinois. Hands down!!!!
I am always skeptical and usually so let down by bbq, and this is the only place which has been consistent and above and beyond. Staff interactions are a main reason to visit, as they are upbeat and welcoming. Katie, Jay and Isabella, along with a few other employees, stand out and always make my day better with legendary service. The thing that keeps me coming back is how perfect their meat is. Keep up the great work!
